I told him I wanted the car as I had been looking for one... an Acura RDX. The first offer from Josh the sames manager after looking at my car... I knew worth $1500... was $28995 PLUS $1155 for reconditioning and $1500 for my trade in. I then stated that the web says $1000 more... Josh does that... then I state well that is not the price you advertised and Josh changed the price to $26867, then I went personally to Josh to ask about the $1155 and he said I should be happy as that shows they reconditioned the car. I told him that his advertised price should have that included to which he seemed shocked as if this was a stupid business practice. He told me most customers like that he has this "added" amount to the advertised price as it shows it had repairs! I informed him that I was going to buy a car from Music City three months before but that the advertised price was $1800 more than Crest Honda so I drove the 15 miles there to save $1800. Oddly, the sales man at Crest said, and Music City is known for not selling you the car for the price on the internet! Guess I should have gone back to them again as this is crazy. Josh told me it was a great deal and I said I am buying the car as it is the one I want but I can get one form Carvanna for $200 less or CarMax for $1000 less but I do not want one shipped that I mat reject... I value seeing and driving the car before I buy it. I told him I would buy it but that his $1155 deceptive price changing would cost the dealership $50000. Understand that they will change the price and just go somewhere else.BTW... went there due to the service department... loved them. More

Bad Customer Service My husband and I were having an issue with opening the glove compartment in our 2012 Honda Pilot after we took it in for a recent recall. Prior to My husband and I were having an issue with opening the glove compartment in our 2012 Honda Pilot after we took it in for a recent recall. Prior to taking it in, he and I worked with trying to get it opened for roughly an hour before deciding to take it back to Music City Honda to see if they could help us with it. On a sidenote: We're not dumb people. Both my husband and I have gone to and graduated from college with degrees and we know that it doesn't take rocket science to open a glove compartment! You insert your key into the lock of the glove compartment door, turn the key and then pull the latch to open the door. So after driving for about 30 minutes from Mount Juliet over to the dealership and waiting for about another 15 to 20 minutes, the little condescending receptionist comes back to tell me the only thing that was wrong was the glove compartment was locked. Really? So I proceeded to tell her that prior to bringing our vehicle in for the recall, we were able to access our glove compartment without any problems. Still, she made it seem as though we were the dumb ones even though we knew that we weren't having any issues accessing our glove compartment prior to the recall. I guess the best advice I could give anybody who decides to take their vehicle in to Music City Honda for something simple like this is to be prepared to be ridiculed and condescended. More

I normally dread car buying but Sara related to us on a personable human level. She interacted with our children and made us all comfortable rather than stressed and pressured.
