Service department drove our 2017 F150 with my husband and determined what the problems were with the truck. Said they would call us to bring in the truck when they had time and parts to fix. Called and said to bring truck in Tuesday July 2nd , would take several days to fix .asked them do oil change as well, no problem. Called Friday July 5, service tech was out until the following Tuesday. Called again Saturday July 6 and was told NOTHING had been done to the truck. Nobody knew what the story was with our truck. We came back and picked up the truck and returned the rental we were provided. It’s now late Wednesday July 10th and NO ONE from the dealership has contacted us to explain why nothing was done Guess they could care less about customers satisfaction . Have owned fords for many years and Never had such a bad experience with a service department. Someone should have followed up with us. We’ve driven over an hour each way to get to this dealership, guess inconvenience to customers doesn’t bother this dealership. Very disappointed. More
I bought a vehicle recently and purchased a three-year warranty The service department will not fix windshield wipers that won’t shut off and give me a courtesy car so I can go to work. It makes it impossible for me to have this fixed. I’m not spending a whole day off work sitting at the dealership wondering whether not they’re gonna be able to fix it. with no timeline as to when the vehicles even gonna gonna get fixed. my family has purchased many vehicles from this dealership over the years, so I was very disappointed to get that kind of service. The gentleman I talk to you over the phone was very understanding and did a great job sympathizing with my concern so xxxxxxto him. This policy needs to be fixed and so do my windshield wipers. Thank you. My windshield wipers run and never shut off. I’ve only on the vehicle a little over a month. More
I bought my daughter a 2018 Ford fusion three months ago at burns ford York Sc. We purchased the “bumper to bumper” warranty with this car. She had it two weeks and got a full service before she went to Florida for graduation trip. On the way back she had car trouble near Murray Ford in Starke Florida. My daughter at 17 was stranded and could not rent a car because of her age. The service manager there said there loaners don’t leave the state. After car was taken back to look at it I received numerous calls from Mark in service stating that I may need to pay money to have my “full coverage” “ford certified” vehicle repaired. He told me the “flex plate.. I soon learned was the “fly wheel” had cracked. So I received another calls a week later that I needed to pay 700 dollars to purchase parts that my “full coverage bumper to bumper warranty” didn’t cover. I told him it should be covered and he told me that he would fix the car but could not gaurantee me it would work since I didn’t pay for more parts. He also stated that i bought a crappy warranty with my car from Ford and they should cover more parts. So they had my car over a month and finally called and said it was ready. So we drove 6 hrs to Florida to get car. When we arrived a rat had eaten a hole in the back seat from sitting so long at there dealership. Was told that was not there problem. So my daughter drove this car back home from Florida. Once she got home she got Into car to go to work the next day and the ball joint fell off front of car!!!! Making a horrible noise!!! What if that came off otw home?!!!!!!!! My local Ford dealer came to pick up car at my home with a wrecker. They called me today and told me about the ball joint and the nut not being tightened!!! So I complained to Murray ford today and was contacted by another manager down there who assured me they would refund the 120.00 dollar “deductible” I paid to pick it up. Worst service department in history!!! I went to buy my daughter her first car because she works and goes to school and deserves it. And she has not had that car but two weeks since she bought it almost three months ago! Where’s the service???? More
