Murdock Auto Group started in 1982 with the opening of our Murdock Chevrolet store in Bountiful Utah. In 2005 with the purchase of our first Hyundai dealership in Orem, Utah , Murdock Hyundai began. In 2006 we purchased our Logan dealership and in 2008 we bought the Salt Lake City store . For our Hyundai dealerships our goal was simple, have a Murdock Hyundai in every neighborhood. Now we want more, we want a Murdock Hyundai in every driveway. I went to Murdock Hyundai because my daughter bought a used car a few years ago and her experience with them was a favorable one. I did not expect to buy the first car I tried. Taking into consideration the price, appearance, performance and the overall good feeling I got from the car, I was ready to do business. Mike Dillenbeck is a really pleasant person. Went in looking for a used SUV with specific needs. I was not run around and shown a bunch of cars I didn't want, he took me to the few they had and was very honest with the pricing and quality of the vehicl not run around and shown a bunch of cars I didn't want, he took me to the few they had and was very honest with the pricing and quality of the vehicles and did not try to push me into something else just to keep us there like several other dealerships did. The used car manager is very easy to work with and his professionalism shows through his sales staff. Once we decided on the vehicle, they let me take it home overnight to see if we truly wanted it (they didn't even insist on riding with us!!) Ryan was very attentive and not overbearing, even Mike the finance guy was great to work with. Overall it was the best buying experiences we have and probably will ever have. Thanks guys!! More

Loved the fact that there was zero pressure to buy. We test drove at least 10 cars and when we were finally ready to buy they kept the dealership open an extra hour to finish with us! Very impressed. These guys went over and above for me when we were looking for a new car. When I found one I wanted at the Salt Lake Murdock, they transported it to Lindon for me so that I wouldn't have to drive down looking for a new car. Garrett and Cody were fantastic, were very helpful while still being LOW PRESSURE, have followed up several times to make sure I'm happy with the car, and have overall just been great. We got our 2012 Sonata Limited for a great price and it is an AWESOME car. I will definitely return next time we are in the market for another new car. More

The car we selected on the internet and made an appointment to test drive was ready and our contact person greeted us as we entered the showroom floor. The experience was more than we expected but came up way short on closing the deal. From the time we agreeded to purchase the car the clock seem to stop. After an hour and a half we were about to leave and still some items agree on was still not done and if we didn't catch it it would have been our lose. We have been back for service and we give the service dept. FIVE STARS on the work. We are now having troubling with a hard down shift at about 20 MPH but from what we have found on the Internet it's a HYUNDAI problem, we hope when we go in for this the service dept. will come through More

I found a Jeep on Murdock's website that was exactly what I wanted. I called, talked to Daryl, worked out the details, and flew to Salt Lake City a few days later. I was met at the airport by a young Murdock I wanted. I called, talked to Daryl, worked out the details, and flew to Salt Lake City a few days later. I was met at the airport by a young Murdock employee who drove me to the dealership in Lindon. My Jeep was sitting in the lot, having been thoroughly detailed and filled with gas. I took the Jeep for a test drive--though I knew from the Carfax it was in excellent condition--came back to Murdock and exchanged the cashier's check I took with me for the paperwork on the Jeep. I felt like I met half of the employees and was treated with the attention most dealerships reserve for their long time return customers. When I left Murdock I reflected on how much my first online car purchase far exceeded my expectations. And since returning home to Texas I have received phone calls and letters from both the salesman, Daryl Ball, and the general manager, Paul Tew, checking with me to ask how the Jeep was on the trip home and to let me know if there was anything I needed not to hesitate to let them know. In short, I have to say that I have only had one other experience buying a car that comes close to my purchase from Murdock. When I tell people who compliment the Jeep that I bought it from a dealership in Utah, I get the same question: Why?
