On March 23rd, my wife and I stopped at Murdock Hyundai to test drive a 2013 Elantra. My wife loved her 2009 Sonata that we had purchased from Murdock back in 2008. We live in West Jordan but we had such a good experience with Murdock the last time that we felt it was worth the drive to Lindon to explore a new car for me. When we arrived late Saturday night it was BUSY!! At that time, all of the sales reps were busy with other customers. That was fine with us, that gave us a minute to look around, and the silver turbocharged Sonata caught my wife's eye. Soon we were being helped by the Sales Floor Manager Cameron Wernig, and Certified Sales Consultant Derick Thorn. They were so helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Again, we were thrilled with the treatment we received. I hate dealing with some of the “bigger” dealers in Salt Lake City. It’s pressure packed, and frustrating. The guys at Murdock in Lindon treated us like we were friends and it felt genuine. Okay.. long story short…When it was all said and done, four hours later, Derrick and Cameron were outside in the freezing cold with us at 11:30 at night (two and a half hours after closing), showing us our two shiny new cars. My wife ended up trading her 09 Sonata in on a new 2013 Sonata and I purchased a new 2013 Elantra. I highly recommend Murdock in Lindon, Derick, Cameron, and Garret (the finance manager) for your new car purchase. It was a wonderful and painless (actually it was really fun!) car buying experience. We, my wife and I, were not in the market to purchase a new Hyundai. We wanted to look at what was available in the SUV type vehicles that were on the lot. We had a few questions on what the Santa Fe and u new Hyundai. We wanted to look at what was available in the SUV type vehicles that were on the lot. We had a few questions on what the Santa Fe and used vehicles were optioned and priced at on the lot and we could not find a match for our needs. Ryan took us to the new 2013 lineup of SUV models and we looked, test drove and ran some figures. We were very happy with what came back and moved forward into making a decision and purchase of a new Santa Fe. The amazing part of Ryan's help was leadership in not pushing us off at the end of the day. We really overstayed our visit to seal the deal, and Ryan worked with us several hours beyond normal business hours to complete the sale. Ryan was a professional at give us detailed information on our new purchase. He had definitely befriended us during our visit in trying to find a match for our SUV needs. Ryan made us feel welcome, no pressure attitude and most important of all, like family. We would recommend in having Ryan help us in the future for our car buying needs. We left the Murdock dealership satisfied, comfortable and not under the dreaded feeling like we had purchased something unnecessarily. I am sure I am among the many who say they didn't really intend to buy a car today. Our salesman, Michael Dillenbeck, could not have been nicer in helping me narrow down what I really wanted in a ve really intend to buy a car today. He explained so many different options being respectful of the need to see a little bit more or stop to think about something or have something repeated. I never felt pressured or hurried. He was very personable and made it easy to like him. We were also treated very well by the general manager, Paul Tew, who made us feel like valued customers and really took time to make sure we were feeling good about our experience. I liked the atmosphere of the dealership--friendly, professional personnel, the efforts to make sure we had water, chairs, restrooms, and anything else we might need, cleanliness. I can't think of any negative impressions I might have had. I feel that I got good value for my money. More

Lance asked if she liked peanut butter and celery, which she does. He quickly asked us to hold on a minute and went and grabbed the celery with peanut butter from his lunch and gave it to her. Once she ate it, she felt much better. Not everyone would have done that.... But Lance went the extra mile for us!
