I brought my Chevy Cruise for service. I spoke with one gentleman at the service desk and he stopped me, saying, "I'm not the right guy to talk to. Talk to those people at that desk" (pointing to the desks with other service reps). I walked down there and waited patiently for someone to acknowledge me... nothing. One man right in front of my face typed and handling business without even a word. I was surprised. Greeting someone or letting them know that you will be with them in a moment is basic fundamental customer service. Sadly, this is not the first time exhibiting a lack of customer service. My wife went there a few months back and commented on the rudeness, stating that it made her feel uncomfortable. My recommendation is for improved customer satisfaction. I backed my car out and went to Toyota. They greeted me and took care of me without feeling invisible. More
I was on a time restraint to purchase a vehicle the end of last March. I purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester for $14,698 cash with the understanding I could resell the vehicle back to Murdock’s. I didn’t like of last March. I purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester for $14,698 cash with the understanding I could resell the vehicle back to Murdock’s. I didn’t like the vehicle so 3 1/2 mos later I wanted sell the Subaru back and possibly upgrade. The value that was given to me was $9,000. I asked why the vehicle was valued at $9,000 when 3 1/2 mos earlier I purchased it for 14,698. The person I was talking to said he would look into the figures and had me send my disclosure, which I did. I asked the question again about the 9,000 current value last Monday and have received no response. Because I was limited on time and had $16,700 available to purchase they made this lower value vehicle fit the $16,700 total purchase price and I lost $5,698. I understand I would loose some money but to jack up the price where the value isn’t there on this vehicle is bad business. More
