I went to Murdock Chevrolet to see if they had the new Chevy SS and after several visits, one finally got delivered. He also gave me two complimentary tickets to the Car Show at South Towne Expo Center, so that I could see the Chevy SS that would be there. I went to the show with my brother and we enjoyed the cars and the time together. Brandon also made sure to give me a brochure on the SS. He said he would call when the car arrived and within a few days he followed through and invited me to drive it. I was out running errands and stopped in at Murdock today. Brandon was very helpful, polite, and eager to make the car available for a test drive. He had to get it out of the showroom for me. He seemed just as excited about the SS as I was. I felt no pressure to sit down and make an offer and all the typical car sales falderol. He was very pleasant and willing to answer any question and to listen to me blathering on about cars. I told him that I was not in the market right now for the SS, but was so favorably impressed by it that I'll have to get one. It is a great car. Brandon was an extremely nice, clean-cut, well groomed young man and when the time is right I will certainly seek him out first and give him an opportunity to earn my business. More
I have always taken my Pontiacs for service at Murdock Chevrolet. I have just retired after more than 26 years as a professional scouter. My cars were worn out (206,000 miles). I saw a new Impala on the road and did a double take. I had talked to Mike Christensen before and K. O. Murdock has worked with me before in scouting. I talked my wife into looking at cars and we drove through the Murdock lot. A customer was taking a picture of a black LTZ Impala and my wife fell in love with it. I have never liked black cars, but I had to admit that this car looked great in black. We talked it over and went back on Saturday of Black Friday weekend. I asked for Mike Christensen, but he was not working that night. A Brandon Lomax helped us, (we had never met him before) and he was very helpful and informed about the car. I mentioned that I knew Mike and K. O. (the dealership owner) . Brandon said that K. O. was there that night, and went and got him. Between the two of them they offered us a fair price, without any step up salesmanship that I hate, and we bought the car. Jeff Campbell did a great job of explaining the financing. My dad's first job out of college was working for GMAC during the depression. He always said that GM cars were the best built. I have owned every make of GM car and loved them.. My favorite was my Pontiac SSEI, which I traded in on the Impala LTZ. I always thought that Chevrolet cars drove a bit like a truck, but this LTZ has changed my mind. Very much like my SSEI with even better handling, and the looks and electronics are mind blowing! I would highly recommend this car and Murdock Chevrolet. We have never had a bad experience there with any of the personnel in the last 13 years that we have taken our cars there. Rich & De Ann Hawkes More

Brandon did a fantastic job of understanding what I was looking for and recommending several vehicles which met my criteria. He was honest about the condition of each and shared comprehensive service data with me. His input helped me make what I feel was the best decision possible and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This review would not be complete without mentioning Don Nordsven in the finance department who made the business end of the transaction just as pleasant, and Cody Nordberg in the service department who went through the vehicle with a fine toothed comb and made sure Brandon knew of any issues. Together the Murdock team worked very well together. I will look to Brandon and Murdock for all future vehicles. More
The overall experience of buying our new vehicle at Murdock Chevrolet was very positive. The sales staff and everyone we talked to were courteous and professional. I do have some feedback that might be considered to improve the process even more, because the impression someone gets when they work with a dealership to buy a vehicle is critical to your business. One point is to try to speed up the process. It takes less time to close on a house than it does to buy a car. This isn't isolated to your dealership, it seems to be widespread. Waiting for a financial person to feed a pre-printed form into a printer and lining up the print to the lines seems rather archaic. In today's computer world, is there not a program to generate the forms needed and print them out to sign after filling in the information into a computer, then just scan the signed forms back into the computer? The completed forms could be put on a CD for the customer to keep as well as the printed copy that can easily be lost or destroyed. Most consumers today have a busy lifestyle and even though they might take a long time to make a decision to buy a vehicle, the process after that point should be streamlined for customer convenience and speed as much as possible. Your customers time is valuable. The only other point is that the dealer incentives like the ski passes and electric car are all nice, but if the customer has no use for those items, it would be nice to offer the customer a small discount or cash back in place of those incentive items if they choose. What a fantastic experience! We had a terrible experience last week at a different location. McKenzie called us up from the Woods Cross location and offered to help us out. We explained to her that we had trust issues due to our experience last week. We also explained that we were not intending on spending very much money. She was not scared off in the least. She was in fact, very professional, and insisted that we come to her dealership to check out a couple of the vehicles that she thought matched our picky but inexpensive needs. We ended up coming in, and found her to be genuine, and down to earth and impressively knowledgeable. She did not have any tricks up her sleeve. We ended up leaving early to make an appointment and she was very nice and accommodating. When we returned, McKenzie was helping other guests and so Darin helped us out. We found him likable as well. He helped polish off the experience. We got a used car in good condition for exactly the payments that we requested. We drove the vehicle home feeling like we had been taken care of. We are so grateful for McKenzie insisting that we give her the opportunity to make things right and Darin's being a great team player. Rand and Keith above and beyond for us in our recent purchase. My credit wasn't in the best shape and Randy got me approved for a fair interest rate. They got me into a Ford F-150 which had a major problem. It went into two different shops trying to diagnose the issues. Ford finally condemned the motor and Murdock stood behind it 100%. They replaced the entire motor for us and I am ABSOLUTELY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH MURDOCK!!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend ANYONE to Murdock Chevrolet in Bountiful and when you go there, talk to Randy and Keith! The best couple of guys I have EVER dealt with in regards to buying a used vehicle. More

I purchased yet another vehicle from Murdock Chevrolet last week. I can't say enough about what a pleasant and smooth experience it was. I have dealt with a lot of dealerships in the past, both to purcha last week. I can't say enough about what a pleasant and smooth experience it was. I have dealt with a lot of dealerships in the past, both to purchase and service my vehicles. I have always gotten the run around and the deal has always been lopsided in the dealers favor. Most dealerships want to low ball your trade and then get top dollar for the new car that you are purchasing. That equals win win for the dealership and lose lose for the customer. My experience each and every time with Murdock Chevrolet has been exceptional! They are in business just like anybody else to turn a profit. They don't, however, participate in silly games that make the deal unfair. They invite you into their clean and orderly dealership and treat you like a neighborhood friend. They make the deal necessary for them to satisfy their bottom line and stay in business but, at the same time, give the consumer an honest and fair deal on their new or used car purchase. When they say that, "you are the heart of their business", they mean it. You definitely get treated with professionalism and kindness. K.O. Murdock is a hands on business man that cares deeply about his dealership. He hires people that are personable and know their stuff when it comes to the vehicles that they sell. They don't pressure you in the least but are there to answer any questions that you might have and to streamline the buying experience as much as possible. I have never dealt with anyone at the dealership in sales, finance, or service, that didn't treat me as a valued customer. I have taken the time to write this review for no other reason than to recommend a "class act" dealership that will take care of you throughout every step of the car or truck buying process and that will continue to be there for you when it comes to service needs or future purchases. I have learned this personally from years of positive experiences with this fine dealership. As a private businessman I will continue to purchase and service my personal and company vehicles at Murdock Chevrolet and will, without hesitation, recommend them to my friends, family, and colleagues. It is refreshing in this day and age to be able to recommend someone at this level and honestly believe in their personal integrity and business ethics.
