Expected a little Help 2 months ago I bought a 2004 Nissan Quest from Muller Honda. I bought it for my wife to drive around my 6 month old & 2 year old. Right away there was 2 months ago I bought a 2004 Nissan Quest from Muller Honda. I bought it for my wife to drive around my 6 month old & 2 year old. Right away there was a ticking in the engine & front wheel was extremely loud & it leaked horribly when it rained. I didn't find this out right away because my wife drove it most of the time. 7 weeks in of owning the van I took the van to a tech & he said it had a bad wheel barring. I paid to have it replaced. While he was replacing the barring he called me right away & said he needed to show me the vans subframe, which holds the passenger front wheel & engine in place. He said the subframe is very thin & had holes in it. He said the van was not safe to drive & he would definitely not drive it on the highway. I called for my salesman & found out he no longer works there. I then reached out to Tony Pescatore and Terry Tarello, sent them both emails (and made numerous calls) yet no one has responded to my email still to this day. I called & asked for the sales manager & was sent to Terry Lumpkins. He said if it was as bad as my tech said that he would look into swapping the car out with something else on the lot, which I felt was absolutely fair, as the main reason I bought the car from the dealership as I felt If something major was wrong with the van, I thought they would back it up. I was wrong. I tried bringing the car in on Saturday, June 4th but was told it was too busy. So I waited until the following Friday, June 10 to let them look at it. Their technician inspected the van they sold me & said there are definitely holes in it & any time there are holes in the subframe it is not a good thing. He also took pictures to show Terry due to him not being there that day. I spoke with Terry on Saturday, June 11th & he said he had to speak with the director to see what would be done. I did not hear back from Terry & had to make numerous calls before he would speak with me. When we finally spoke he asked that I bring it in again! I brought the van back & he finally looked at the car on Friday, June 17th. After looking at it he said his technician told him the van may not be safe 6 months from now or a year or 2 years. I asked Terry if they check out the frames when they do a trade in, since that is what this van was, and he said yes. Then he said they would have never have caught the subframe issue. My mechanic pulled the front wheel off and said he noticed it right away. Honda Muller pulled off the front wheel to change the brakes before they sold it to me and my mechanic said shame on them for selling an unsafe van to a family with 2 young children who would use the car daily. So, after driving back to Honda Muller with my wife & 2 kids like Terry said to, I was treated like crap. When I got there he had me speak with an associate, Miriam and not himself. I could tell I was being pushed off. I looked at 2 cars that were similar to mine in price to see if we could work something out due to being sold an unsafe car. He came up with an appraisal & said he would buy the car back for $2000 less and that I would not get my $1,300 down payment back either, and that this was a generous offer. Honda Muller has given me the worst customer service I have ever had and I will never recommend or do business with them again. Terry has taken advantage of me & I hope no one ever is treated like this again at Honda Muller. Shame on George Bialkowski, Service Director & Mike Muller, President for having guys like this work for them. I am completely convinced Terry was not honest with me. I have been in sales for over 15 years & I would never treat someone this way. The sad thing is if I didn’t buy this van & someone else did, they might have been seriously hurt down the road while driving on the expressway. I am not about to let this continue to happen to other people. More
"Feeling cheated & harrassed" I bought Hyundai Tucson in January this year and I was told that car is thoroughly checked by the service team and its in the mint condition. I have tried to use the AC few days back during hot weather and found that its not working at all. I got it checked from some local service station and they told me that AC compressor is damaged/non-functional and has to be replaced. I have informed the same to the sales team and they have been adamant on the fact that car is 4 months old and nothing can be done now. It seems to be a normal wear and tear for them. The best they can do is offer me the extended warranty now and swallow the deductibles. My point is the car was not thoroughly checked and I was committed that it has no known issues with mechanics and electrical components. The sales team is rude and extremely unethical. fast and excellent service I recently visited Muller Honda for service on my 2010 accord. I bought the accord at Honda of Kenosha, but since I live in Grayslake I don't want to trek up to Kenosha for reliable service. I have used the service department before, when it was Rosen, and it was fine, but nothing special. This time, I was blown away. My service advisor was Chris Wrublik, and he made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. Not only that, he fixed an issue with my brakes that Honda of Kenosha had messed up on! The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I was out in an hour, for oil change, spark plugs, belt and filter replacement, and brake service. I never got the survey, my spam box must have permanently ate it, but I could not let this service go unnoticed. Thank you Chris! More
Best Car Buying Experience Ever After doing research, I decided on a 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L for my daughter. Pulled into Muller Honda in Gurnee this past Saturday and met Chris Mitche After doing research, I decided on a 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L for my daughter. Pulled into Muller Honda in Gurnee this past Saturday and met Chris Mitchell. I had done my pricing, trade-in and extended warranty homework and had the numbers I felt were fair written on a post-it note which I handed to Chris. Explained to Chris I had the title for the trade-in and a check and wanted to be done in an hour or less. I'm 62 years old, have purchased many new cars and I let Chris know how much I absolutely despise the typical auto dealer 4 hour slow roll (you all know who you are). Chris promised me he'd take care of it. Came back in 20 minutes and told me we had a deal, no further negotiation, done. Amazing! Picked out the color and was out the door, total time elapsed 1 hour and 45 minutes! Without question the finest new car buying experience I have ever had. Chris Mitchell and Muller Honda are the best, hands down! Thank you Chris and Muller Honda. More
They don't even honor the hours listed on the door! Terrible service. I desperately needed a part to fix an issue listed as one of the TSB items for my Honda Pilot. Their website says the parts dept is open until 4. I trek through the snow and get there at 3:30 only to find that they "decided to close early today". Arrogant manager just grinned at me and said "sorrrrrrry". Honda service has gone so downhill in the last two years, and Muller epitomizes what I've experienced with them. Never again. My current Honda is my last Honda, and Muller just made that a certainty. More

I made the mistake of going to another dealer nearby a few months ago and got manipulated into this car that I didn't really need in the long run. So I called up my buddy Alan Laudonckas to save the day! I've dealt with him before and always had a great buying experience. I went in there with little to no idea of how I'd get out of my situation, and he helped me through every step of the way and I drove away in a brand new civic! The leasing program is fantastic and I couldn't be happier! I love the car, and the staff at Muller Honda is the most trustworthy bunch I've ever encountered at a dealer. I was dismissed and ignored at this dealership in the area and I thought to myself, “This is crazy! I need to go see Dave!” I arrived at Mullen in Gurnee and Dave met me with that cheerful, familiar grin. He walked right over and even though I was looking at a used Toyota he treated me as if I was buying a 2016 Honda. Dave is always open and honest and when he makes a promise it will be kept. He went above and beyond for me yet again. Dave Krockmal treated me like family, the Mullen family. I know he will be selling me my fourth car too! More

My wife and I always purchased our cars from Emillian at Muller Honda. Yesterday I called Emillian to talk about trading in both our cars in for a single car for the reason that my wife had passed away. Emillian immediately changed from a sales person to a friend. He spoke to me with a tremble in his voice. He no longer wanted to talk about selling me a car, his main concern was my well being and offered support outside of our business relationship.
