My wife and I bought a 2011 VW CC from Mtn. View for our daughter who was soon to be turning 16. Almost immediately we began to notice that the car had a serious problem that we couldn’t quite put a finger daughter who was soon to be turning 16. Almost immediately we began to notice that the car had a serious problem that we couldn’t quite put a finger on, it has an ominous feeling of a bad transmission. The dealership told me to bring the car into their shop for what I thought was a free diagnostic (given that we had just bought from them). After giving the car a clean bill of health they asked me to pay the diagnostic fee. Since then I have had the car at 3 other reputable repair shops and they have all found the same things wrong as each other. We have spoken with Mtn. View about this and each time we have walked away with zero resolution. I’m into this car with nearly $2,000 in repairs since we bought it and it has been driven less that a thousand miles because I don’t want my daughter to break down on the highway as such an inexperienced driver. Ethan Hickman, the sales manager, sent me a text asking me to write a review about my experience. Here you go bud. Treat your customers the way that you would like to be treated and perhaps try to make things right for your customers in the future. More
