Caught the service manager in a big lie about the body shop they contract that supposedly couldn’t fix the issue with my under warranty truck and was told to go somewhere else. When I approached the Co ow shop they contract that supposedly couldn’t fix the issue with my under warranty truck and was told to go somewhere else. When I approached the Co owner Jason about it he told me that I didn’t buy the truck from them so hit the road, before I could even finish my sentence he threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave immediately. I have never been so insulted. More

My car broke down Tuesday morning, I made an appointment- couldn't fit me in until Friday at 11. I arrived 10 minutes early with my 1 year old son to discover it is just a battery issue and it's covered unde couldn't fit me in until Friday at 11. I arrived 10 minutes early with my 1 year old son to discover it is just a battery issue and it's covered under warranty. Over 2 1/2 hours later, they are finally finished. Mind you- over 2.5 hours just to replace a battery. Customer service was great- service end- not so much. More
Went above and Beyond for me!! I have bought two cars at Mtn Valley Motors and I will but my next one there as well. I’m very weary of car dealerships and car salesman, but with my experience at Mountain Valley, I have to say they are not the typical dealer. John Conner in sales and Jeremy the service manager are absolutely top notch and they cared enough about this customer to make sure that something that could have been a complete disaster for me did not turn into one. My SUV completely shut down on the highway randomly with catastrophic engine failure. It was just 6800 miles out of warranty to top it all off. I immediately contacted Mountain Valley the very next day and they sent a tow truck down to Jasper to pick it up for me. After looking t over and realizing the engine was completely shot, instead of handing me a bill and telling me good luck, they said they would do everything they could with the manufacturer to try and get some financial help to make the repairs. They acted as my liaison between me and Hyundai and arranged to have the vehicle sent to Hyundai in Kennesaw to have them look it over. Praise be to God, at this very same time Hyundai had experienced a huge influx of engine issues for this very same type of vehicle and they replaced my engine free of charge, they even provided me with a very nice SUV (even nicer than mine) to drive in the two months it took them to replace the engine. Jeremy stayed in touch with Hyundai the entire time making sure I was being taken care of. I never had to contact Hyundai one time. Kudos going out to John Conner and Jeremy and Mountain Valley Motors for showing me that all car dealerships are not the same. And thank you Jesus for working through these wonderful people. More
RUDE RUDE RUDE !!! Would give negative stars if able. I'm in the market for a particular new vehicle. Currently live over two hours away, but moving to the area, !!! Would give negative stars if able. I'm in the market for a particular new vehicle. Currently live over two hours away, but moving to the area, so at the recommendation of builder, called their sales dept. Gave salesman the exact specs I want (also willing to order if necessary). He never called back with quote. Still wanting to do business with a "local" business where we are moving, called back to give another chance. Different salesman, and he even claimed a certain option was not available, and that another dealership was "lying" when I was told it was available. He ultimately had to concede that it was in fact available, but still would never give me a price for the vehicle. Apparently they just expected me to drive over two hours with a blank check because they are so much "better." Guess with that confidence they are still afraid of any sort of competition. The salesman's sarcasm and rudeness was only exceeded by that of the general manager when speaking to him. After over forty years in retail and/or customer service industries I have never encountered/experienced this level of rudeness towards a customer who was trying in good faith to spend literally tens of thousands of dollars at their business. I also don't know anyone who would shop for any product without asking the price. The general manager literally tried to chew me out for my audacity in asking for a price. He claimed that "they would be doing all the 'work' in finding and/or ordering the vehicle" and then I would just go to another dealer for the purchase. Wow, I really didn't know it was that much "work" to look on a computer screen and figure out a price to sell a vehicle. Kind of thought that was the business they were in -- selling vehicles. But if just figuring out a price is too much "work", how much customer "service" can you expect when you have a real problem. Truthfully I would ride a horse every day to work in the rain/snow before I would ever consider buying a vehicle from this dealership!! More

I'm tepid on the sales guys, got saved by the Manager. So, I bought a used truck from the dealership I had bought from since 1999. I didn't kick tires or haggle. I just signed and drove away as I always do So, I bought a used truck from the dealership I had bought from since 1999. I didn't kick tires or haggle. I just signed and drove away as I always do. (My ninth car from them) But there were problems. Lots of problems. I called and the sales guy, Gary Williams, and he couldn't find time to call me back. /crickets I spoke to his associate Jack and he was dismissive and never called back after our first useless conversation. I started to feel like "You're nothing to these people once the ink dries." I sent one more email and one more text because I had a suspicion that the owners didn't know what those sales guys were hoping would just go away. And that's when I was on the phone with the sales manager, General manager speaking for the owner. They hadn't got word of what those sales guys were sitting on til my last message. Long story short, they appreciated my previous business after all. And they told me I could undo my deal and buy another truck, a flawless new one. Or they'd fix what was not-good on the used truck and back me up. It was up to me. It was awesome. So I bought a new truck. It was a better choice for me because I honestly stopped trusting anything my sales guy had said. And the truck was a scar. But the management at Mountain Valley is like you want to believe it is in a small town. They're concerned about their business and they value repeat business. So here's how it shakes out and what I learned: When buying a USED car, take it to your mechanic for an exam before you sign anything. That's just common sense I did not employ and my sales guy was glad I didn't. When buying a NEW car, seriously consider buying it from either Jason (Neal), or John (Connor) I'm not gonna comment on if you get a great price because that's got more to do with moods and the phase of the moon, but I will tell you that MVM made it right, and seemed very genuine. Thanks. Dr Erik johnson Not much to say after Roy Aderhold left. I've bought EIGHT cars from these guys since 1999, never haggled, bought some (new) cars sight unseen (FOUR Jeep Wranglers, two Durangos, a Ram 1500, a Ram 2500). Well then on Dec 31, I bought a used truck. I wanted to give Gary a year-end tick on the board. Barely checked the truck out. Trusted him. Signed and left. They told me everything was ship shape. Been checked out. That couldn't have been further from the truth. In fact, the truck had been submerged over the frame to let water down into the transmission and differentials. Further, the oil filter and air filter were TENS OF THOUSANDS of miles old despite assurances that the vehicle had been serviced before the sale. The guy in the bay looking at the truck showed me every piece and part. Liars. I called and spoke to JACK. He suggested I take my problems up with the poor guy who traded in the truck to the dealer ship. Some guy name John Lowery or something. I think his name's no secret since Jack was happy to send me after him. Then Jack got off the phone with a "let me call you back" which, amazingly was the last conversation I got to have with the dealership. Funny thing is, the entire dealership's phones BROKE all at the same time, and were unable to make a single call after I called and told them about the vehicles serious condition. Nope, you'd be an idiot to buy used from them. Because think about this: if they're willing to lie to a guy who bought EIGHT brand new vehicles from them, who *WOULDN'T* they lie to? Beware. Let my expensive mistake serve as your own pre-emptive lesson. As an aside, since I'm entirely on my own with this lemon: Anyone know who can get me an airbag, a new fuel gauge, and a transmission flush and front and rear differential drain flush and gasket? I'm gonna spend thousands on pre-existing poor condition for this F-450. Respectfully submitted, Dr. Erik Johnson. More

Jason in Sales is a Liar Terrible customer service and liars. I have been in contact with Jason in sales and he straight out lied to me. The dealership ran my mother's credit Terrible customer service and liars. I have been in contact with Jason in sales and he straight out lied to me. The dealership ran my mother's credit and she had been pre approved to purchase a truck on Saturday 12/30/17. She went back home to discuss it with me. We then called Jason and advised him that we wanted the truck. We asked Jason if he can hold the truck until Wednesday 01/03/18, since the dealership is far away from where we live. He said that was perfectly fine and asked for a credit card number, which we willingly gave him the credit card number. I called jason on 01/01/2018 and confirmed again that we will be going to the dealership on Wednesday morning. It is now Wednesday and we're halfway to the dealership that is an hour and a half away from where we live and he calls stating "Sorry, truck was sold yesterday". Jason assured me that the truck would be held but he didn't fulfill our agreement. What was even the point of holding my mother's credit card if he wasnt going to hold the truck. Please do not do business with this dealership. They will deceive you. More
