I called for prices and they tell me one price and then I drive almost two hours for them to mark up over 2k? The guy tells me the not all rav XSE have a sunroof. I honestly cannot think of a better new car buying experience in our currently crazed world. From start to finish - this was pretty seamless (maybe 2-ish hours total time on the ground with the deale experience in our currently crazed world. From start to finish - this was pretty seamless (maybe 2-ish hours total time on the ground with the dealership, 3 test drives, and drove away in a fantastic 2022 Toyota 4Runner. I did a True-Price agreement upfront (which are not getting honored in most places), then exchanged a few messages with the dealership. Mentioned I was looking at two other vehicles (a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500) at another dealership first, and that I’d get back in touch. The rep from Motorworld said “why not just test all three here - I’ll have a Grand Cherokee, a 1500, and a 4Runner parked out front for you.” I said “great - but I also have a service appointment for my Dodge Challenger - its just a quick key fob repair - can you make that happen too?”. He promised, *I* was skeptical. But it all happened, flawlessly. So I was not really wanting to buy a car in the current market. I did not 100% need a new vehicle. I certainly was not paying a BS “Market Adjustment” either. Another bonus - I asked for no phone calls. Email and text only. And Motorworld honored that completely. I arrived at the lot, text the Toyota rep while pulling in (Rob Slovik), and confirm we are ready. I leave my Challenger for it’s service, then walk over and meet Rob. He wanted to understand what I was really looking for in a vehicle, explained my needs, told him we dd not need to do long test drives, and off we went. We talked, he helped me think honestly though pros and cons of each, and then decided on a 4Runner - an Army Green one that was in stock. We had to talk through a few details on pricing of course but we landed at a price I was happy with - and most importantly - Rob was transparent (as was I) though the process, showed each other our proverbial cards, and completed a day that was no drama, no BS, and everyone walks away happy. In short - Rob Slovik is a fantastic rep at Motorworld (and Motorworld remains as my dealer of choice in the area - both in ease of transaction and general casualness but professionalism of the deal). Well Done Rob! Thanks Again - Much appreciated. More
