Our family is a long-time MotorWerks of Barrington customer...in fact for over 20 years with several Mercedes Benzs and one Cadillac, and now a second Cadillac ! Although most all of our service has been done at the main location on Dundee Rd. last week we purchased a used Cadillac from an out of state Seller and had it brought in for service for the very first time at the MW Cadillac -Cook Street location. Both Mr. Oliver and Kevin were are very kind and professional as they could be. Mr. Oliver even remembered us. Our loaner car was ready as promised and our Service list was all done with excellent communication and old fashioned service. Although, our service work was just done, we believe that it has been completed correctly. Lastly, the Cook Street location has a charm of it's own...less hectic than the main location and we will continue to bring our CTS Sedan to this dealership, even if it relocates to the newly remodeled main sales/service location. I contacted Kevin early in the morning and they were able to get the car in later in the morning (at MY convenience)and actually look at it the same day. The problem that the car was having was intermittent to get the car in later in the morning (at MY convenience)and actually look at it the same day. The problem that the car was having was intermittent so they asked to keep it overnight (I also told them that the problem was more prevalent when the car was cold) and I was fine with that. The next morning Kevin called to say that they had actually experienced the "bucking" condition that I had described to them. A few hours later Kevin called and said that the technician had found that the ignition coil for cylinder number 6 was bad, it was replaced and the car was ready to be picked up. Even though the repairs were covered under the manufacturer's warranty, I felt that the charges that I saw on the repair order ( I did not have to pay anything) were very reasonable. I would not hesitate recommending Motor Werks Cadillac to anyone. Kevin kept me informed every step of the way and the car was returned washed and dried! More
