Vehicle had several safety related issues Since I'm approx 250 miles from the dealer I had my headlight condition diagnosed at a local Chevy dealer the very next day after purchase. Motor Spor Since I'm approx 250 miles from the dealer I had my headlight condition diagnosed at a local Chevy dealer the very next day after purchase. Motor Sports agreed in writing to pay $250 for repairs. I paid to have the repairs done, but it did not fix my headlight problem. After approx another $450 in diagnoses, I had to replace the complete headlight assy at a cost of an additional $1600. Dealer would not return my phone calls or emails. Contact BBB, dealer did not respond to them either. Will persue legal action against dealer. They will tell you what you want to hear, but once out the door, your just another number. Please BEWARE of doing business with this dealer! (they never even sent me the $250 as promised) UPDATE I received a call from the salesman Jason in August. He stated that the dealer has a new GM and they want to make things right with me. He requested that I send him copies of all my repair bills. I sent the bills, and did not hear back from Jason. Waited two weeks and called him. He said that he passed the bills onto the GM. We also discussed the price of the bills, and I decided that I would absorb abour $1200 of the bills, all I want reimbursement for was the headlight assy replacement (approx$1700). He said that he would have the GM contact me. Waited for two weeks, and called Jason. He seemed quite surprised that I did not receive a call. He gave me the name of the new GM...Ron. I contacted Ron, and discussed the entire case. Ron said that he will review the case and promised to call me back in one hour. He did call back, and said that they were preparing for the hurricane, and would contact me after the storm passed, I agreed. Naturally no call. I waited 6 weeks after the storm and contacted Ron. He said that he just got back to work, and had my file on his desk. Again he would review and get back to me. I waited for three weeks, and called Ron. He stated that he could not do anything for me as the dealership had been sold, and the new owners would not be responsible for the previous owners debts. He also stated that if I wanted my money I should sue the previous owners. He knew all along that the dealership was in the process of being sold, but just lied to me to buy time. I have been giving them the benefit of the doubt and referred to them several times as an auto dealership. They are just another typical Used Car Lot. Tell you anything before the sale, and lie to you afterwards. Once again BUYER BEWARE!! More
