I would not recommend Motor Sportsland to anyone looking for a trailer. This 2 star review come from my overall experience with the whole team at the Millcreek location, although I don't even want to give t for a trailer. This 2 star review come from my overall experience with the whole team at the Millcreek location, although I don't even want to give them more than 1 star. If I were to rate the finance team (5 stars) they were very quick and easy to work with. If it weren't for them, this would likely be a 1 star review. The salesman (2 stars) I worked with was great until after the deal was made and contract was signed. I had questions about a brochure I was given that stated all the standard features on the trailer I bought, but I didn't physically notice one when I saw the trailer, so I asked him to check. I reached out twice before getting a response. Instead of walking out and checking the trailer, he blindly gave me a yes answer. The next week picking up the trailer, I asked where the feature was to find out it doesn't come on the newer '23 model, which is exactly why I questioned it. The real kicker was the detail team (1 star). If it wasn't for Andrew (who I found out no longer works there) helping me out, I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I bought my trailer and specifically asked that the roof rack be touched up and the rust stains cleaned up. There were a few rusted spots on the rack that caused some staining on the roof of the trailer. For a brand new trailer, I shouldn't have to ask that, but wanted to be sure it was taken care of. After 7 days to prepare and clean my trailer I went to pick it up. First, got told my trailer doesn't come with something I was promised, then found out they had not done anything to clean or touch up the rust problems on my brand new '23 trailer. The supervisor of the team wouldn't even get up to join the conversation when the question came up, just sat in his office on the other side of the shop/trailer and yelled out "My bad. I haven't asked anyone to do that yet." He had 7 days to prep my trailer for pickup, and I had to postpone pickup until that afternoon to give them even more time. I called around the new pickup time to confirm everything had been done, and was told it's out back and ready for me. I get there and still see multiple visible rust spots. I voiced my concerns to the salesman again, who pretty much told me that's going to happen and gave me a can of spray paint to fix it all myself. Had a terrible experience, and never plan to go back. Even after a few days, I was still so irritated that I decided reached out to the manager so he could address the issues with his team. Here we are, almost 2 months later and I still haven't heard a word. No apology or anything. They do great acting like they care, until you sign the contract. From my experience, the manager doesn't care and that has trickled down to many others on the staff. Long review, but if you read this all, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. Somewhere that gives you everything you're promised, and somewhere that takes the time to clean the trailers they sell. More
Pros: Store very clean and good stock on hand Finance - Great - Loved Justin who helped finalize our deal Knowledgeable sales staff and fair trade in allowance given Service Dept at West Valley location Great - Loved Justin who helped finalize our deal Knowledgeable sales staff and fair trade in allowance given Service Dept at West Valley location is totally Awesome Cons: Sales - Initial experience good, but it feels like salesman SH at Murray was just out for the commission and not wanting to help fix problems that were experienced. Delivery of Trailer - They claim they went through all systems and checked them out. Upon walk through we noticed a few items, but was assured by our walk through guy that they were all “normal” and ok. After camping there were things we feel should have been caught by the pre-delivery check, but obviously weren’t Experience: We went to the Murray location on State street to purchase our trailer. Overall sales experience was good. We were assured they they go through and test all systems and make sure they are working properly before we pick it up. Picked up the trailer and upon the walk through noticed a few items, (wiggly hinge on the freezer), but was assured that those things were “normal” by the guy performing the walkthrough. Took trailer out and tried it in the driveway and up in the mountains. That’s when the problems were found such as. Water heater blew thermal link - West Valley location was great - (give Chris in service 4 stars) he gave us a new fuse and we installed and we thought we were good to go. While there we asked him about our fridge not running on electricity, He said the plug should be wrapped nice and just needed to be plugged in. We had the receptacle to plug in, but no plug could be found. He took us out and showed us what they look like. Went home and found our plug shoved clear up behind the fridge and crammed so hard between trailer and fridge it took a while to get it down so we could plug in No hot water up camping…..Apparently where the fuse was installed was not correct so kept getting too hot and fuse blew again. West Valley rerouted the fuse to where it was supposed to be.. Took it up camping and found a usb plug didn't work (didn't even light up) so that wasn't checked on pre delivery either. Big problem was the black tank clean out valved sprayed water all over the bathroom upon first dump clean out. Not sure if this is checked pre-delivery, but it should be as it was found that the hose wasn’t even hooked up under the sink. Took trailer into West Valley service dept to get the above items fixed, since we had dealt with Chris and felt they would find and take care of the problems and not brush them aside.…They are having to order a new fridge since the hinge was totally bent, so the “not a big deal” thing we first noticed really was a big deal. They also found the hose that was not hooked up and spraying water all over the bathroom. Replaced the plug etc. We contacted our salesman SH after our first camping trip to tell him our bad experience and he said he would see about some sort of store compensation and call us back. We have never heard from him and no compensation has been added to our account when West valley looks….which is why it feels like he is only in it for the commission and not caring for his customers. If no compensation fine, but at least call the customer back. We won’t be back to the Murray location for anything in the near future. More
This place is a joke! Seriously DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! We bought a "brand new" tent trailer. Well it was supposed to be, this thing was absolutely used and broken but they didn't care, they lied & said it wa bought a "brand new" tent trailer. Well it was supposed to be, this thing was absolutely used and broken but they didn't care, they lied & said it was new. The sales manager Curtis Long, the salesman Mike Bartz, and Nick from service all should lose their jobs for the way they have dealt with my family. Mike has no idea about any of these trailers, he gave us a lot of false information on the trailer that we didn't find out until we did the set up tutorial with Matt. Mike told us the trailer had a Grey Water Tank and a boiler, he also said that our extra front storage slid to the side to access it while the bed it set up. We got the base medium model which doesn't come with any of this. Now that we finished up all the paperwork we were stuck with a trailer that didn't have features that we wanted. We picked the trailer up on a Wed. and took it out that Sunday. On that first trip we went 1hr away, all freeway, nothing crazy. We found 9 things wrong with the trailer. First called Mike to see what we needed to do. At this point I am calm & trying to get through the process. It take us 12 DAYS of constant phone calls of trying to get through to Mike before I get fed up enough to ask for the sales Manager, Curtis. Curtis is a liar & acts like he is so busy he can't help you, told us we just needed to bring the trailer back in & they would get everything fixed up. At this point I am annoyed because I had to escalate my issue to a Manager when I shouldn't have. We get over to the service team and meet Nick. Nick is the laziest person & honestly is too dumb to work in customer service. We had to review our list with him 3 times to get him to supposedly note everything down. He tells us it will be a week and a half & then we could come get the trailer. Not too bad. Nick calls to follow up & let us know things are moving along. Great. He calls again a few days later, at this point he then tells me that the hole in the window will take 2-3 months because any damage to this window means that they have to send it to Viking & get it repaired or have them send out a new one. Now, keep in mind that we have mentioned the window every single time we have spoke with some one from this rip off of a company and not once did they mention that for damage to the windows they have to ship it out! I explain to Nick that there has to be another option since I am not going to have them keep my trailer for the entire season. His exact response was, "Those are your options, you can either get it fixed or deal with it, since our team didn't catch it on the walk through you guys are at fault." So now, not only am I looking at having my trailer out of use for the entire season I bought the silly thing for I am now being accused of damaging it after taking it out once with just myself and my husband. I call Curtis, at this point I am beyond upset. Curtis tells me that Nick is accurate in telling me that it's going to take a few months. What we can do for now since it's all documented is put a patch on it so it doesn't get any bigger & "hopefully" doesn't allow rain in and then bring it back in the off season to get it fixed. I agree to the patch not realizing that they weren't actually talking about a real patch, apparently their idea of a patch is a piece of tape. I am explaining my frustration about the situation to Curtis & why I feel like Nick shouldn't be working there he then goes on to tell me that he has the best service team in the State! I laughed & said that I would bet money on that one. Curtis stood his ground then said our trailer was ready and they have fixed everything but the window which was "patched". Curtis informs me that they have a new batch of my model of trailers coming in so we could swap the windows out at that time. We bring the trailer home and get it set up today and they haven't fixed more than half what needed to be fixed, they drilled a bunch of holes in the roof of my trailer for not reason & and left them & gouged my cabinets up. I actually drove from Phoenix Arizona because they had the best deal and bottom line price. They beat all the big National RV dealers on price and service which made my transaction very easy and pleasant. All minor issues were taken care of immediately on the spot prior to me driving home. The RV store on site was well stocked with almost everything you need for your new rig. Great communications from Tom my sale guys and Damian in Finance all made sure everything was ready to go on time. Chad in Service was ready to help me with any issues that could come up in the future. Curtis the Manager should be proud of his crew who made me very happy with my new rig. Thank you All, John I More

The sal Where to even begin. Bought our 2019 volante 5th wheel in February of 2019. Went here after general rv and found one that we thought was nice. The sales were pushy but friendly. Told us that the sale ends that day and that the price will go way up because of tariffs. Sales never went up! They actually went down! But most importantly they sold us a lemon. And dealing with the service department is an absolute joke! Right when we brought the trailer home in February we noticed a hole in the front, doors chipped like the cleaning people don’t even care about damaging sold trailers, bunk was broken (that was literally the only thing to ever be fixed but when they did fix it it was like they cut the wood in the trailer there is saw dust everywhere and in the vents) but all the other stuff it’s been 5 months and still not fixed! Last time I dropped it off they had in for a few weeks. It’s camping season why would I want to make my monthly payment for it to sit at the dealership. Today I called and was offered $28000 to buy back my trailer after I told him about all of the issues and was looking at buying a different brand that was more $$$$$ the the trailer I have now. What a joke! Don’t go here unless you want to be ripped off. If Curtis the manager wants to call and make this right I’ll gladly take my review down until then I’ll make sure no one else is sold a lemon from this dealership. More
Trailer #4 My wife and I after 10 years decieded to buy a new trailer we went to our local TV show shopping and really didnt find anything so we went back to mot My wife and I after 10 years decieded to buy a new trailer we went to our local TV show shopping and really didnt find anything so we went back to motor sportsland after 10 years I knocked on the sales managers door he said hey your the guy that keeps your trailer on the golf course. He remembered me wow I then explained to him what we were looking for he called Bill to his office the same salesman we had the last 2 times we shook hands he took me to a few trailers I found exactly what we were looking for. I didnt make a snap decision I said I need to let the wife see it we made 3 more visites to the trailer to make sure that's what we wanted. We went got the check for the trailer and talked about the other trailers with Bill I was sad to hear he was retiring. We picked up the trailer on the date promised clean polished and ready to go. I shook bill hand loaded up the trailer and drove off it's been 2 weeks that we have had the trailer we returned to motorsports land today March 30th to purchase so things we needed for the trailer I knock on the sales managers door ask if Bill is around they page him he promptly comes up front what a wonderful man. CHEATED AND LIED TO !!! BUYER BEWARE !!! We are in a unique position to realize how little customers matter to Motor Sportsland. Our salesman was Chuck and we were so hap !!! BUYER BEWARE !!! We are in a unique position to realize how little customers matter to Motor Sportsland. Our salesman was Chuck and we were so happy to find this layout that we were possibly his easiest sale ever. Seriously he couldn't even remember our names! But we aren't complete fools. As we were going over pricing I pulled up the NADA on our trailer and let him know that their asking price was way over book. His response was to LIE THROUGH HIS TEETH. He said that the book price I had pulled up was for a base unit 9-12k (acting like that was an empty shell) and that after we add everything that is in our trailer we will get the true value. He went through and added a bunch of items that later we learned were already included in the base pricing so he was therefore adding them twice, or were not on our trailer at all such as luxury cabinets worth $1600. His end number was 16-20k and since our out the door price was under 16k we felt we had a good deal. He even made comments about how we could use it for a year and be confident that we could trade it next summer and not lose any money. The flood light was broken and he said they would fix that. Later he said he never said that but after some calls they did replace it. We picked up our trailer and had the equalizer hitch we purchased through them put on and it ended up being put on incorrectly and too low therefore putting our family at risk. This was our first bumper pull and we didn't know at the time how dangerous it was. Since then NO ONE who has seen it thinks that 7" clearance is acceptable for a hitch. Even their own service VP told my husband that they needed to fix it asap. The real kicker though is that one month later we decided we wanted a motorhome instead. We knew we would lose a little money but were confident in the great deal Chuck had given us. We couldn't have been more wrong. I can't tell you what a xxxxxxx I felt like when dealer after dealer told us that our rig was only worth 9-12k and not the 16-20k that Chuck had told us. To test this I even went back to the scene of the crime and acted like I wanted to trade in my trailer and even Motor Sportsland told me that my rig was indeed only worth 9-12k!!! When I pointed out, with paperwork showing how much Chuck told us and the bank the worth, I was given the biggest run around of my life. I have the entire conversation with the sales manager recorded for anyone interested. At first he was defending their position but when I kept insisting that I cared less about whatever deal I got and more about the fact that I did ask the right questions as a buyer but was just outright lied to by THEIR SALESMAN and now as a result was going to lose $6,000 in 1 month even he became upset at the situation. The best he was willing to offer me was 12k in trade (they sold it to me for 14k +tax+fees). So I was to lose money AND give them yet another sale. Hmmm... I don't think so. Then he told me to sell it on my own because "They can sell my trailer for 14k all day long". But was he willing to buy it back and resell it to right the wrong? NOPE. So we contact the owner. Because, you know, part of their sales pitch is how it's a "family run business". Well kids that means squat. The owner has been the worst part of this equation. I have been floored at how callous and bottom line motivated he is. Not only did he admit that Chuck must have "made a mistake" by adding in all those luxury items that were not actually in our trailer but also he undid anything the sales manager and service VIP had promised to do to help us, therefore making his team liars. He said that our hitch set up of 7" clearance was not dangerous and that they would not be fixing it. Basically bugger off and we have so many good ratings no one is going to care about your 1 bad rating. **I CHALLENGE YOU TO READ THE 1 STAR RATINGS AND TELL ME IF THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD COMPANY TO YOU** I was shocked to find so many complaints similar to ours. There are some good sales people at this company but as a whole we have felt shoved aside like dirty laundry. More
