We have spoken with this customer several times in an effort to resolve his complaints. This vehicle passed Virginia State Inspection and all safety tests including the tires. The customer claimed when he took the vehicle to a shop in West Virginia for a West Virginia State Inspection the vehicle failed. He later told us he had taken the vehicle to a second shop that also failed the vehicle. We have requested the name of the shops that failed the vehicle for West Virginia's State Inspection but to date we have not received any information regarding the West Virginia shops. We still made every effort to accommodate the customer and had him bring it back to our shop. We had our Service Manager and several technicians independently review the vehicle and none could find any reason why the vehicle would fail a Virginia State Inspection. We also noticed that the Virginia State Inspection Sticker had not been removed, nor was there a West Virginia State Inspection/Rejection sticker present on the vehicle. While all vehicles are cleaned before purchase, we cannot speak to the cleanliness of a vehicle after we sell it. This vehicle was purchased about a month and a half prior to this review. As a dealership, we strive to provide safe, reliable transportation to our customers and we continue to assist customers after their purchases as well. We take all customer feedback seriously and continue to promptly review any situation that arises.

Nick ogle was given the names n numbers of the shops. And was rude n said he wanted to see a West Virginia rejection sticker and he said that then we might do something..which by WV LAW ur only allowed me to travel to a repair shop within West Virginia to have the repairs made..again the shops was DDD's in princeton,Wv.. Taylors on old Athens Rd in princeton, and Estep tire n service in bluefield, Wv..I also had Estep mount n balance the new tires I bought..luckily I found a backwoods shop in WV that does very minimum inspection..I do have the text messages saved n Mr ogle recorded on my phone

On further review we did find where the customer provided the names of a couple of repair shops in West Virginia. To date we still do not have any information regarding the vehicle failing a West Virginia State Inspection. Our mechanics remain confident that the tires on this vehicle were in passing condition when sold to the customer.

When the 1st shop brought the dry rotted tires to my attention I told them I had just bought the car. They said as stated previously if they put a rejection sticker on the car it would only be allowed to go from my house to the shop for repair in Wv. I requested that they did not reject the car. I would see if shelor would be honorable n help with tires because I had to folllow up with them on that Monday but I realized durin my conversation with Nick Ogle they had no intentions..so I purchased the tires myself..it's a shame a dealer of this size has no regard for public safety. I've purchased from Shelor in the past n was always treated fairly n this horrible experience will make this my last purchase.
