Army veteran, this is my experience dealing with this dealership; I found a vehicle I was interested in, I made a very reasonable offer based on the vehicle's age and mileage, and Nate told me via text that his GM would not budge on the price. I received notification via email that a price drop of $1000 was placed on this vehicle and that my offer of $6500 sight unseen was refused and Nate told me that his GM would not budge on the price, the original asking price was $7990. After making several reasonable offers on this vehicle and my offers being refused, I blocked all numbers that had contacted me via phone and text. I will not do business with a dealership that refuses to negotiate price, especially on a 22 year old vehicle with close to 214k miles on it. Thanks but no thanks is in order for this dealership and its GM Christy Thoi and salesman Nate.; More

It "passed" their inspection and less than 2 months after purchase and less than 500 miles had to have a repair that cost $2700 on the front end. In addition they sold me a warranty that they told me covered everything from Bumper to Bumper for the first 24 months. Of Course the Warranty did not pick up any of the repair and are very hard to get on the phone. The Jeep dealer that was doing the repair and trying to submit the claim could never get them on the phone. If you do buy a car from this place, DO NOT get the warranty that they are going to try to sell you. I would think this being a small business that they would want to do better and don't see how they could look people in the eye and say "this is my best work". HARD PASS ON MOTOR MAX! More
Bought car in Oct 2022, beautiful car, no money down through One Main Financial. But VERY next day, car ran hot--Heater Core,, $3000+,, but, yes, they (Motor Max) fixed it at no charge! Soon months late through One Main Financial. But VERY next day, car ran hot--Heater Core,, $3000+,, but, yes, they (Motor Max) fixed it at no charge! Soon months later, visiting my brother in North Carolina--got there and there was NO coolant in reservoir.... In all cars i've owned, I've never had to refill them with coolant in a few months time (this was months later after Heater Core replacement). In about 14 months later (after expiration of my warranty), had to take to Hyundai dealer-- wiring harness and brake light switch,,, another $800 or so. Now mind you, MOST people I talk to say they've had VERY GOOD Success with their Motor Max vehicles. They do have a great looking inventory, one of of the most diverse. Then in June of this year, car ran Hot again,, yes I checked coolant prior to trip. Now what? It's Head Gaskets,,, around $3500 to fix, ($4600-%5900 for Used engine and $9000 for New engine). So, though people saying "why don't you take the car back to Motor Max), honestly 1. i can't blame them,, hey, after warranty was over,, the car then is As Is. I can't make them fix it, it's now MY problem. 2. If i take it back,, I get repo and can be sued, Plus my credit goes bad... soooo, stuck with $9765 balance to pay on car I can't drive. Nope, not mad at Motor Max... again, the majority of people give Great reviews... maybe i'm just the one who had the bad apple with the worm. Years ago i was hoping to land a job there in sales, was unaware they not fond of People of Color working there,,,it made car buying bit uncomfortable (but I was desperate and they had good choices). This the reason I wouldn't refer no one there. BUT honestly, if you're looking for a large selection of cars, with "decent" miles,, ok price, YES,Then i'd recommend here. More
Drove 3 hours to view a vehicle with a couple others I wanted to look at in case the first vehicle had any hidden issues. Vehicle was in dire need of new tie rods and wheel bearings and honestly felt unsa wanted to look at in case the first vehicle had any hidden issues. Vehicle was in dire need of new tie rods and wheel bearings and honestly felt unsafe to drive however I was ready to make a deal as it was a vehicle I wanted and I was willing to put in the work to fix it. Dealer refused to budge on price saying he would rather it sit for another 2 months than to take anything off the price even though it clearly needed work. Still I was willing so I said let’s sit down and work out the paperwork. Salesperson stated we could fill out the loan application but I would have to come back to tomorrow to finish the paperwork. I explained again that I had to drive 3 hours each way and this was not acceptable. Dealer did not care. Clearly they could care less about selling a vehicle as they refused to stay the extra 30 minutes to close the deal. I went down the road to Speedway Ford and purchased my new vehicle there. No hassle, no up sell, no crazy add-on’s and was honestly the easiest time I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. They stayed open past closing time an extra hour to close the deal. Speedway Ford clearly cared about the customer whereas MotorMax basically was the exact opposite and represented everything I hate about dealers. More

The quality of service from this company was extremely poor. I bought a vehicle that was in terrible condition and required substantial repairs (but I was totally unaware because they bandaged it up). It poor. I bought a vehicle that was in terrible condition and required substantial repairs (but I was totally unaware because they bandaged it up). It has now been at the dealership for an extended period of time. Furthermore, I was charged for title work at the dealership, but the information submitted to my tag office did not reflect the payment I had made. As a result, I was forced to pay an additional fee. Despite reaching out to the company regarding this discrepancy and being informed by Melissa that a check would be mailed to me, I have yet to receive any compensation. It is disheartening to witness the prevalence of dishonest practices in the modern business landscape, and it is deeply problematic that businesses such as the one I am describing are allowed to exploit hard-working individuals. It is worth noting that I did not receive financing from this business; rather, I walked in with a pre-written check with the intention to purchase the desired vehicle. I was taken aback when it was suggested to me that dealerships such as this are typically intended for individuals with few other options. Prospective customers should exercise caution when considering engaging with this business More
Sales Lady was Perfect. Manager was less than 1 star. I have been in the automotive business since 1982 and I have seen it all. OBD 2 Inspection is required on any vehicle that is sold by a dealership. Selling a car to someone that lives in a non-inspection county because the SES light is on is a bunch of xxxxxxxx. Big Fine, Loss of Dealer license, possibly more if an audit is conducted. That being said I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. But I will enjoy the 2005 BMW 545i that I purchased 2 days ago with no SES light on, inspected and runs great. Like I told you earlier, Julia was topnotch 10STARS!! More
