Nasty Rude Disrespectful Owner !! Originally we went to look at 2017 Kia Sorentos. But because of the change in body style and loss of the many options we have in our current 2014 Sore Originally we went to look at 2017 Kia Sorentos. But because of the change in body style and loss of the many options we have in our current 2014 Sorento, we decided to extend our current lease and take our time to decide on our next vehicle. Then we found out that our 2014 Sorento will be part of a major engine recall, where as the engine can just seize- Kia has yet to send out recall notices and will do so in about another month. Needless to say, no one wants their vehicle to seize on the middle of a highway. We decided not to extend our lease and was told by Kia Lease End personal that the vehicle can be dropped of at any Kia dealer. We called Motion Kia and arranged to go there the following day - April 28 (our lease is up April 29). A salesman was aware that we were returning the vehicle there as we moved 70 miles from the dealership we had leased it from. As my husband was filling out paper work the owner comes over and says he will not take the vehicle because there is damage to the rear bumper. Then raising his voice to me says - has that vehicle been inspected? That's your responsibility!! Bring it back to the dealer you got it from!! I don't want it here and I'm not taking it!! First- this man had no right raising his voice to me! Then I went outside and called Kia Lease end, who told me it doesn't matter if there is damage to our bumper, they are a Kia dealer, they have to take it back. She called the dealership and spoke to the sales manager who said they had no room on their lot and it would cost them rent to keep our vehicle there, of course the loud mouth owner did not get on the phone. This man had no right to 'speak' (shout) to me in this demeaning manner and embarrass me in front of his employees. As a Kia dealership he is suppose to be dealing with All Kia issues, not just selling and leasing vehicles to make a buck!! He threw us out!! How much ruder can you get!? More
We were sold a LEMON We purchased a car for our 17 year old daughter and had been told it had been serviced. Within the next 30 days the air filter stopped working as it was filled with acorns, the oil change they have done was with the WRONG OIL, and the car needs new brakes..this is after only owning the car for less than 2 months. My daughter had to have the car towed. We were told by sales person Bob Nunn the car went through an extensive inspection. Since purchasing the car we have had to invest another 1200 just so it will run. STAY AWAY. THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS More
Several problems My son just got a $56 traffic ticket because Motion Kia placed a (Bud Lake Motion Kia) license plate bracket on my car. It covered the words (Garden State) on the bottom of the plate. Apparently that's illegal and the dealership knew it. Silly reason to get a ticket but that's what happened. I went to the dealership, spoke to the manager and was flat out told (that's not their problem)? This isn't the only challenge I've had. Motion Kia, you've lost me as a customer!! More

I originally came in because of another vehicle that I was thinking of getting. As the Kia salesman approached me in the parking lot I was thinking here comes the usual sales pitch with pressure and hidden costs. I was greeted by Jeff with a friendly hello asking what he could do for me. I told him what I was looking for, how much I wanted to spend and that I didn't want to stay here all day. He agreed and told me that wouldn't happen. It didn't. He listened to what I wanted, found me a newer model, gave me a fantastic price and most of all I was out in just a couple of hours. Definitely, telling family and friends to go to Motion Kia. More

Having been a Jeep fan, I had my reservations about buying a Kia, but I am pleasantly surprised by the style, and comfort of the Sportage. It handles beautifully and has a nice, smooth ride. The sales team was wonderful to work with - particularly Kyle (sales) and Bob (manager). I recommend Motion Kia to anyone thinking about buying a new car. Kia's are new and fun!! More
Best car buying experience ever! I hate going to car dealers. I've bought many cars in my lifetime and it was always pulling teeth to get the numbers. Not here though, I met Jeff Sanc I hate going to car dealers. I've bought many cars in my lifetime and it was always pulling teeth to get the numbers. Not here though, I met Jeff Sanchez who was fair and honest and showed me the Sorento EX V6. I asked for lease and finance numbers and the General Manager Bob came out to give me the payments. They were upfront and asked if there was anything else they could do to earn my business that day and I said give me a good number on my trade. They actually gave me more than I thought I would get. I met Orlando to do the finance paperwork and there were no gimmicks or surprises. I drove it home just 2 hours after meeting them. What a wonderful experience, smooth and transparent. I wish every sales experience was like this. I'll recommend them to anyone who needs a new car. Thank you More
Customer Service??? what's that? Took the car for a warranty repair on Thursday, they would not offer loaner because the vehicle was not purchased there...had to pay for a rental. The replacement part did not arrive on Friday as they promised so they blamed warehouse. On Saturday they had the nerves to blame Fedex for not having the part. In short, a one day repair ended up having the vehicle in the dealership for four days. When trying to get some money back for the rental since they did not offer a loaner they referred me to Kia Corporate assuring me that they always honor this type of claims, well... they did not. On top of all that they used scare tactics in order to do a transmission flush at under 60000 miles for which they charged me over $245, which later on I read on the manual and online that that kind of service is not necessary on sealed transmissions.( again I couldn't have a discount even though they performed such a poor service) STAY AWAY More

I leased my first vehicle from Motion and had a favorable experience. Upon looking at leasing another vehicle from Motion, my new rep Andy left much to be desired. Unfortunately, little useful information was provided, and all he wanted to do was see my current vehicle and get me in there; with essence of snide. I preferred to save some time and do some of the leg work prior. Fortunately, I found another local dealer that was accommodating to my needs and I felt far more valuable, not just another sale to be made and forced had I visited the dealership ASAP. This other local dealership took the time to go over my options and gave me pricing, so my in dealership experience is shorter, more pleasant, and less smoke and mirrors on the sales floor to get the sale done. More
Refused to honor Kia vehicle warranty On August 24th, I brought in my Kia for warranty service for a defective wheel bearing. The dealership confirmed over the phone that the front right On August 24th, I brought in my Kia for warranty service for a defective wheel bearing. The dealership confirmed over the phone that the front right wheel bearing was fully covered under warranty for 100,000 miles. The vehicle had only 67,315 miles on it at the time. On August 25th, the dealer refused to honor the warranty saying that the defective wheel bearing was caused by an accident. This car has NEVER been in any front end accident. Ever. The dealer wanted to charge us several hundred dollars to do the repair. I protested and argued that the car was never in any such accident and that they were obligated to do the repair for free. They refused and would not release my vehicle back to me unless I paid them $85.60 for their time to look at the vehicle. I refused and told them I owed them nothing as they incorrectly refused to honor the warranty. They still refused to release my vehicle to me until they received payment. Basically, they were holding my vehicle hostage to collect a fee to which they were not entitled. The Service representative, Glenn, had the nerve to tell me that if I had done some oil changes there, they would have considered honoring the warranty. I was unaware that honoring a warranty was conditional upon having other services provided by that dealer. In fact, there is no such rule and what they do is unethical and ILLEGAL. The following week when I had some spare time, I brought the car to a different Kia dealership. This dealer looked at the car and said that it was eligible for free repair under warranty and that the other dealer was either mistaken or trying to defraud me of hundreds of dollars. They performed the repair for free and now I have a credit card dispute with Motion Kia. Reading other reviews, you will see that this is not an uncommon experience at this awful dealership. Never again will we set foot in that dump. More
