BUYER BEWARE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - 6 HOURS OF WASTED TIME - LIARS In interest of saving you time (unlike Mossy Nissan) here is a three sentence summary of my experience: Mossy Nissan completely wa TIME - LIARS In interest of saving you time (unlike Mossy Nissan) here is a three sentence summary of my experience: Mossy Nissan completely wasted my time and damaged my credit score with misleading promises and poor business practices. They assured me the sale was "first come, first serve," yet after running a hard credit inquiry, they backed out of the deal and prioritized another buyer willing to pay full price. There are clear issues with management that trickle down through the whole dealership, and I guarantee they will screw you over just as they did to me. Full review: I recently had a frustrating and disappointing experience at Mossy Nissan while trying to purchase a 2017 Ford Mustang. Misleading Promises & Wasted Time: Before making the 1.5-hour drive from Riverside to Oceanside, I called ahead to confirm the car was still available. The sales rep assured me it was and emphasized "first come, first serve"--though they had a 4 PM appointment, I could get there by 3 PM. Despite traffic, I arrived at 3:20 PM, test drove the car, and sat down to discuss a deal. Unfortunately, their trade-in offer was lower than expected, and they had no room for negotiation. Realizing it wouldn't work out, I left. False Promises & A Hard Credit Inquiry for Nothing: Shortly after leaving, the sales manager called me, offering $500 off the car and $1,000 more for my trade-in. He insisted I return so they could run my credit and finalize the deal. Trusting their word, I turned around and drove back, arriving at 4:20 PM.I met with the sales manager, who quickly handed me off to the original sales rep to run my credit. After filling out paperwork, I waited over 30 minutes while the sales rep disappeared. Meanwhile, I noticed the sales manager storm out of the building. At 4:50 PM, the sales rep returned to inform me that my deal wasn't possible--not because of my credit, but because the sales manager had lied about the trade-in offer and sale price. They hadn't even checked before running a hard inquiry on my credit. Baiting Buyers & Poor Ethics: Adding insult to injury, I was then told that another customer had arrived and was willing to pay full price--so much for "first come, first serve." It was clear they were just stringing me along as a backup buyer. When I asked to speak to the manager, I waited another 20 minutes, only to find the sales rep sitting on his phone. He eventually pointed me to Ron Gibson, who casually told me he had made a mistake in approving the numbers. Instead of owning up to it sooner, they wasted hours of my time and hurt my credit score. When I brought up the impact of a hard inquiry, Ron dismissively said, "It won't affect your score"--a blatantly false statement. Final Thoughts: The only "apology" they offered was a free gas fill-up, which took another 30 minutes to complete. By then, it was obvious they were stalling to see if the other deal went through. Mossy Nissan proved they care more about squeezing out the highest bidder than treating customers fairly. If you value honesty and efficiency, stay far away. More

The dealership itself is great, I purchased a car there which I love and works great. My largest problem with the dealership is one salesman in particular Ghassan. When I went to buy my current car, he sta which I love and works great. My largest problem with the dealership is one salesman in particular Ghassan. When I went to buy my current car, he started out very kind and polite. After test driving a car I liked, I told him I would come back for the car tomorrow as it was late and I wanted to think over the purchase. He then became noticeably pushy and irritated as he pulled out all the paperwork. He then went over to the other employees at the front desk and began loudly insulting me which I overheard. He is the typical pushy salesman that people want to avoid. I will likely go back to the dealership to buy a new Nissan but I will not buy one from him. More

Worst dealership ever! ! I took my car in to correct a recall notice. The service tech changed my radio station so he could listen to Sirius XM Radio. He listened so long ! I took my car in to correct a recall notice. The service tech changed my radio station so he could listen to Sirius XM Radio. He listened so long he ran down my battery. The next day my car was completely dead, wouldn't start at all and I missed an important appointment. I had to call AAA and they told me I needed to buy a new battery. Now I'm receiving emails asking me to confirm my Sirius XM subscription. I told my new mechanic what happened and he said he's heard many negative comments about the Oceanside dealership. I will never set foot in this place again and I'll tell everyone I know about the horrible experiences I've had. This is definitely not the first time they have disappointed me. They're awful and they suck!!! More
