I had one of the worst car-buying experiences of my life at Moss Brothers Dodge in San Bernardino. They advertised a vehicle on their own website for $26,500, and I confirmed this multiple times over the ph at Moss Brothers Dodge in San Bernardino. They advertised a vehicle on their own website for $26,500, and I confirmed this multiple times over the phone before making the hour-and-a-half drive to purchase it. When we arrived, things quickly went downhill. First, they tried to push financing with a ridiculous 30% interest rate, claiming it was because of our credit score. They quoted us a monthly payment of over $900 even with a $10,000 down payment—numbers that simply don’t make any sense for a $26K car. When we then discussed buying the car outright in cash, suddenly the price of the car jumped from $26,500 to $35,000. When I asked for an explanation, the sales manager, Nick Quiroz, brought out a printed sheet of numbers that didn’t add up. When I asked to review it further or take a picture, he quickly took it back and said it was “trade secrets.” On top of this, they admitted the online price was correct but said they were adding $5K–$10K in “mandatory add-ons”, which were never disclosed in advance. This is nothing but bait-and-switch advertising. The whole experience felt dishonest and rushed, as if they just wanted us out the door at the end of the day. I had purchased a vehicle from Moss Brothers about five years ago and went back expecting the same level of service, but this experience was a complete disappointment. Dishonesty, price-swapping, and unethical sales practices—that’s what you can expect here. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from this dealership.
