Alan Megard is always professional and figures out what wrong with my car right way. His estimates for time completion are spot on and his customer service is premiere. My experience was short of horrible when everything was said and done. First as a part of the deal and contract, He was promise custom rim that he saw in the showroom floor of the Mos Bros. That promise wasn't up held and he was told that those rim would not fit a Dodge Ram 1500. Then my husband was told that we was getting some Viper SRT 10 wheel instead of the that was agree upon. When i went to pick them up there was a set of OEM Replicas wheels instead of the SRT 10 which was considerly cheaper than what was agree upon originally. My husband ended up getting the same wheels that he originally wanted that he put on the truck himself but was falsely told from the beginning that they would fit that truck. The dealership didn't want to to hold up their end of the deal. Second when he got the truck home it started leaking oil but the truck was suppose to be brand new. That was strike two and then he was told by sale person that Mos Bros could beat the interest rate that he was pre approve for from USAA. he told the sale person to run his credit only one time to see if he qualified to get the 2.75 rate that he was offering. He fell to disclose Mos Bros policy and procedure for running your credit through all the banks that the dealership deals with. Now he has receive four letter from banks stating they pulled his credit history and we still don't know how many more letter that he is going to receive. His credit score has dropped due to the number of banks pulling my credit history. If this way of doing business was disclose in the beginning of the sale process he would have went through USAA because he was already pre approve. I have a very dissatisfying taste in my mouth and I would never refer this dealership to anyone. More
The sales staff at this dealership were very knowledgeable of cars and their inventory, Dave and the rest of the staff went out of their way to help me with my bad credit situation. This is the 5th car I have purchased from the Moss Bros Auto Group and the 3rd one specifically from the Moreno Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge store. I've typically dealt with Richard Chew when I've purchased. He's always very professional and has always helped me get the payments and terms that fit my budget. I recommend them to all of my friends looking to buy a car and they've always taken care of them in the same way they take care of me. They've always gone above and beyond to make me happy - whether that's in sales or when I go to their service department. Everyone is very friendly and seems genuinely appreciative of my business. It's also very convenient that they have so many different brands represented in the same location as a ton of used cars. After taking with Ray on 3/11/12 and asking for a pre-approval as we have had some credit issues, he talked us into coming down saying "we have ten dealerships, we can get you approved". We looked a pre-approval as we have had some credit issues, he talked us into coming down saying "we have ten dealerships, we can get you approved". We looked a couple used Dodge Chargers, and bought one that day. They got the payment were we wanted and gave us good price on our trade-in. On 03/22/12 we get a letter from them saying they are cancelling the deal and to return the car. I called and talked to Doug in finance and he told me that they were still working the deal and just keep the car. On 03/24/12 we start getting calls from the bank for the vehicle we traded-in saying the payment was 10 days past due. I called and talked to Doug again. Once again I am told they are working the deal and that they had not paid off our trade. On 03/26/12 I called to tell them I am bringing back the car and I want my trade back. They try stalling me off by saying we will have a manager call you soon. A couple hours go by and we decide to go to the dealership. Just after leaving our house a manager calls saying they got a deal and they needed more paperwork (all stuff they were already given). We get to the dealer at about 3:00pm, and had to fight with them to give them the car back and get our truck. Finally they give us our truck back at about 3:45pm. We get in our truck to find that they had driven our truck 34 miles and siphoned half a tank of gas from the truck. During the prior 4 hours we had called Diamond Hills Auto Group in Banning, CA and got a bank pre-approved loan (in less than 4 hours). Moss couldn't get an approval in over 2 weeks. Anyway, we had to put $5 in gas to get the 19 miles from Moreno Valley to Banning becuase Moss siphoned half a tank from our truck. We went to Diamond Hills Auto Group and were out with-in 2 hours knowing the bank that was financing the loan. I will never go back to any Moss Bros dealer ever again. Update: After writing this review I received a call from Dave Oley from Moss Bros to appologize for what had happened and the issues we had. I did find it nice that someone called to show their concern for the situation. It was a day late and dollar short, but was still nice someone called. More
