Ever since I moved back to Minneapolis in the spring of 2001, Jim Cruz, my Morrie's Service Manager/Advisor; and Steve Cook - Senior Technician, have been servicing my vehicles with exemplary care, and always with an eye to my bottom-line satisfaction. Jim & I know each other so well that we are on a "First Voice" over the phone basis - whenever I need to call for an appointment or for advice. Since 1985, I have either personally bought or referred friends/family to purchase Mazdas & service their Mazdas from Morrie's, a dozen times. The reason that I have been buying Mazda's for the last 17 years is because of the service department. I have mostly worked with Jim Cruz. He has always given me excellent advise at to what needs to be don 17 years is because of the service department. I have mostly worked with Jim Cruz. He has always given me excellent advise at to what needs to be done to our cars. We have two Mazda's. We have only had our cars serviced here for the past 17 years. Jim is friendly to work with, gets each of our cars in when they need to be serviced, and always has them ready to go as he has promised. I feel that Jim has always been fair with me, and when I drive away, I feel that the job has been done right. Jim and Mike have made both my wife and I feel that we are more than just a customer. We would recommend this service department to all. More
I have worked with Jim Cruz in the Service Department for the last 6 years, he has always been my go-to-guy with my Mazda Protege. He is always very freindly both in person and on the phone. Morrie's Mazda Service Department is so dependable and customer oriented that I drove from Ann Arbor to Morrie's Mazda for service, when I lived in Michigan. The staff is very respectful of the clients; they do nothing without informing the client and there are never any surprises. I will always have my vehicle serviced at Morrie's Mazda, there is no service department better! More
Went in for oil change, tire rotation and to remove nail from tire. Went to pick up car and noticed that tires had not been rotated. I had marked the tire that had the nail and it was still in the same s from tire. Went to pick up car and noticed that tires had not been rotated. I had marked the tire that had the nail and it was still in the same spot. Service manager claimed tires had been rotated because "it said so on the service ticket." After explaining how I knew it had not been done he went to the service tech who admitted to not doing that job. They immediately brought the car back in and rotated the tires. I asked why the service receipt said "tires rotated" even though they were not and he said this is "automatically filled in" when he makes the request. What kind of quality control is that? How do I know they did the oil change? They didn't even offer to remove the tire rotation cost from the bill but offered me a free oil change next time...like I want to go back there? More
