I had recently seen the Lincoln MKX in an article in Consumer Guide so I thought I would check it out. The nearest dealer to our home turned out to be Grand Ledge Ford/Lincoln. After using some of the online tools on the GLF website I was contacted by Shannon Egan and she set me up with an appointment for the following Monday. Shannon was easily able to answer the initial questions I had regarding the MKX. Through luck of the draw we ended up with Jim Himebaugh as our Sales Consultant. We found Jim to be extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable with regard to the Lincoln product line. During the test drive of the MKX Jim did a great job explaining all of the features and technology the vehicle offered. He pretty much sold us on the MKX during that test drive. Well, a couple of hours later the wife and I were driving home in our new Lincoln MKX. Jim did an excellent job listening to us as we explained what we were looking for in our new car and found exactly what we wanted without trying to upsell for the sake of additional profit. A stand-up operation! I bought a 2011 F-150 in August, 2015 with 43,000 miles on it. A week after I bought it, GLF found the steering rack was faulty and replaced it at no I bought a 2011 F-150 in August, 2015 with 43,000 miles on it. A week after I bought it, GLF found the steering rack was faulty and replaced it at no cost to me. In April, 2016 GLF identified a timing chain rattle and repaired this major problem under warranty. This is a great truck and the dealership really stands behind their product. I could have been out close to $5,000 in repairs, but GLF covered them and has made the purchase of this truck a truly happy experience. I'm 57 and have never dealt with a dealership this good. This is the only dealership I'll do business with, period! More
