Long story short, I bought my car knowing that there was a strong possibility I'd be returning it on the "Love it or Leave it" clause of my purchase contract. Sure enough, I was back in the morning to return the car, convinced I couldn't handle the monthly payments (I'm 28 and this was my first major purchase...I had my previous car for 8 years, so I was out of the loop). I tell Maggie that I need more time to make sure the car was a good fit for me. My husband and I test drove some more cars a few days later and I didn't love any of them the way I loved the car I returned (a 2016 Chevy Impala 2LTZ). Another day later, I call Maggie and let her know that I've decided that I'll save up more money for a down payment, and as I thanked her profusely for her help, I let her know that I was declining to buy a car right now. The next day (so, 7 days after the original purchase now), Maggie calls and reminds me to get my down payment back and I offer to stop by the dealership. As I'm sitting at her desk chatting, the Used Car Manager, Rob, (who is equally as amazing as Maggie!!) tells me that he wants to offer me more on my trade-in. I offer to put more down on the car, and just like that - my monthly payment fell into a range that felt more comfortable. I say, "well let's go look at some cars then!" and Maggie says, "Your car is still here!!" SURPRISE - somehow, in their amazing intuition, they knew I'd be back for that car. Sure enough, I drove it off the lot. I dare ANYONE to find a dealership that cares enough about their customers to negotiate financial details even AFTER I returned the car. They could have sold that car within 24 hours with how nice it was, but they cared enough to wait for me to come around. THIS is what distinguishes Forest Lake Chev/Cadi from their competitors. These are local folks working hard and ethically to get people into nice cars with financially responsible payments and no mechanical issues. More

Maggie was great to work with I was very pleased with the sales portion of my purchase. I told my sales person over the phone what i would be trading in and what i was looking for I was very pleased with the sales portion of my purchase. I told my sales person over the phone what i would be trading in and what i was looking for and she got everything perfect! However, i was a little frustrated with the finance portion as I told the associate I did not want any extended coverages. I ended up purchasing something additional just to get out and ended up canceling the coverage on a later date, which was again cumbersome. Overall, I would still buy another car from Maggie as she was very good to my family. More
