I was disappointed that I was not kept notified of the progress of my vehicle’s repair. My car was in the shop for 3 days! I was given a wonderful vehicle to use, but would have liked to have been appra progress of my vehicle’s repair. My car was in the shop for 3 days! I made an appointment on Friday for Monday afternoon to replace a non-functional key fob. Got to my appointment and not only was the part not at the dealer, they hadn't even ordered it. I drove 60 miles/ 1 replace a non-functional key fob. Got to my appointment and not only was the part not at the dealer, they hadn't even ordered it. I drove 60 miles/ 1:10 round trip only to have to come back again whenever they decide to get their act together and order the part. The service manager could have at least had the courtesy and professionalism to call me ahead of time to let me know they'd dropped the ball so I didn't have to make a worthless trip. If you can go to one of the dealers in the cities if you absolutely need a dealer fix. More
My $350 service (price estimate in the appointment app)at 30,000 miles ended up costing $514. The service rep upsold me on an "Induction Carbon Cleaning" saying it was recommended. Being a long time Chilson's customer having purchased 8 Subarus there, I am concerned about your service decline. Not satisfied with finding over a two week wait for a service appointment . Take your vehicle anywhere else for service. this place will come up with excuses why they didn't do the service that was scheduled. Have purchased 4 vehicles from Chilson. We love Subaru’s but do NOT like their service department schedulers/desk reps. Condescending at best and you know there’s an issue with the department when you recei but do NOT like their service department schedulers/desk reps. It was declined because they did not install Cooper tires🙄 More
