Had vehicle in for Wheel bearing replacement, new tires and an oil change. Service work was all done well and everything works as it should. Was however disappointed in the amateurish handling of the tire mounting where all the mounting compound was left all over the new set of tires looking like a gorilla blew snot all over them. Come on guys, it only takes a little more effort to cleanup when you are done. More
Everyone was really helpful when it came to trading in my vehicle and wanting to upgrade to something newer. I didn’t have the best experience at this dealership. When I called Morrie’s about my interest in one of their vehicle’a I said I was coming from ND, approximately 6 hours away. When I got there a week l When I called Morrie’s about my interest in one of their vehicle’a I said I was coming from ND, approximately 6 hours away. When I got there a week later to test drive the car and give them a cashiers check for it, they told me I was unable to take it off the lot that day because the cashiers check had to clear first. I was not told this on the phone when I originally called. I asked if I could wire the money from the bank so they could receive the funds that day and the finance manger Rob held up the paper and told me “if you have a fake check, you probably have a fake banker”. I felt like I was not taken seriously. Rob told me they had three people fake checks during Covid and it felt like he was implying I was trying to do the same. Rob also made jokes about my “ma and pa bank back home” and why they would even write a loan for me before I even test drove the vehicle or they saw a purchase agreement. The check was originally made out to me but we changed it to the dealership as that was where the money was going in the end and I hoped it would avoid further complications. I felt pressured into purchasing extended warranty when I did not want any and when I said no I was told “some people like to believe they live in a beautiful world and think nothing bad happens”. I think he was trying to make light of the situation and intended to be a joke but the whole process drug out longer than necessary because of it. This was my first purchase at a dealership and it was not enjoyable or exciting getting a new car. I ended up agreeing and leaving without the vehicle and when they said they could meet me half way, they later told me that the furthest they could come was Fergus Falls which is still 4 hours for me. I understand the policy of why I could not take the car day of purchase, but I would have appreciated being told that before I drove 6 hours down there expecting to bring it back. The sales associate was helpful in getting answers via text when she did answer but overall I will not be looking for another vehicle here. More
