Came in to get a steering wheel lock for my car since Hyundai made their cars so easy to steal with a screwdriver and USB cord. Called ahead and was transferred to 4 different people before I could get a Hyundai made their cars so easy to steal with a screwdriver and USB cord. Called ahead and was transferred to 4 different people before I could get a clear answer on whether they were in stock. Was told my model of car didn't qualify for a free lock, even though I had a letter from Hyundai saying otherwise (which I had to bring with me and they actually needed to see to verify). Walked in and was met with confusion about where I should go. Was walked to the service area and the other sales staff couldn't even step out of the way to let me pass by (had to walk around the desk as to not interrupt their very important small talk). The guy who walked me to the service area was so confused about what I was there for that he left me to ring a doorbell at the wrong desk. It's almost like the dealers and service desk operate on separate sides of the earth, but they're all in the same building. Service staff were polite and courteous, and the manager was apologetic that I was given the runaround by the inept sales person. The ineptitude of the sales staff and the fact that my car's value is so low and likely to be stolen anyway makes me regret ever buying it. Makes me glad that traditional car dealerships will hopefully be a thing of the past soon. The fact that the dealership staff seem so unaware that they likely sold thousands of cars that are now close to worthless seems alarming, and they could use some training about how to treat customers that aren't there to drops tens of thousands in a new car. Very good dealer compare to other dealers in the city. I would definitely recommend this dealership and their service center customer service. I would definitely recommend this dealership and their service center customer service. More
The repairs were fine but took about a month to complete. They had my vehicle the entire time so surprised they couldn’t work it in. They had my vehicle the entire time so surprised they couldn’t work it in. More
The service department was very helpful. They kept me updated on the progress. In the meantime they provided me with a rental car. I highly recommend this dealership. They kept me updated on the progress. In the meantime they provided me with a rental car. I highly recommend this dealership. More
They recommended something that I did not need. Another auto shop told me it was not needed whatsoever & if I would’ve listened to Morrie’s I would have wasted hundreds of dollars. Even with an “as is” car there should be a minimum to fix everything to working order. There’s no way to find all the small problems before buying, that should be left on the dealership to explain all issues everything to working order. There’s no way to find all the small problems before buying, that should be left on the dealership to explain all issues they are not willing to fix before sale, left a sour taste in my mouth. Charged me for issues already known and told to them by me and they come back with basically nothing done and a bill for 1 hour worth of work for $160. Took forever for management to come talk to me while car was being put in service while I was possibly thinking the service will be free. After service was completed where I was told I have to pay for the labor for nothing done except 1 screw put in for 1 hour worth of work, management came and talked to me about something they could do, which was nothing in terms of labor cost. Really bad look from my side dealing with Morries 2x now, first time I bought another Audi from the Morries Ford I also got the run around and told lies to my face at the beginning just so I would be happy and get me out the door. A good example of good service is a place called Samaritan Tire Minnetonka, they only charge me for actual work done when you’re a returning customer. Had a weird sound and flapping noise under the previous car and they took it in, drove it around, lifted it up, and told me it was just a plastic piece that was flapping around and they tied it down, then gave me back my car free of charge and told me it was no big deal so they charged me nothing. Morrie’s is so bad in comparison. I will not be coming back and of course will be telling everyone of these stories years to come. More
