Confused and disorganized at pick up time My experience was fine until I picked up my car. The guy was confused on the vin number. He asked me where I parked my car. I said I didn't park it, I was brought by the shuttle. I was picking up my car. He thought I was getting a oil and filter change, I was getting my alignment and exterior lights worked on. No one answers questions or explains the written reports. If I would have worked with the same person I dropped my car off with, there wouldn't have been an issue. More
Morries is over priced It took 5 minutes for them to find out what was wrong with my car and I was charged $140.. I will never return. Disappointed I brought my car because the starter failed. Nick was my contact at Morrie’s Hyundai. Nick called me the next day and told me the repair would cost I brought my car because the starter failed. Nick was my contact at Morrie’s Hyundai. Nick called me the next day and told me the repair would cost over $900. That amount really surprised me. I asked Nick if there were any discounts available. He said there was a coupon for $55 off the cost. He said he would “scrounge around” for one. That left me with the impression he felt he was putting himself out by having to find a coupon for me. I don’t know why I had to ask if one was available. Good customer service would be telling the customer about available discounts and applying them whether the customer has a coupon. Nick told me a back taillight was out. I told him I had one put in on my last visit and asked if it was the same one. He said he’d check and told me if it was the same one it was under warranty and the replacement would not be charged to me. I found a competitor’s coupon for 12% off the cost of a repair. When I went to pay the bill, I brought the competitor’s coupon and gave it to Nick. He said he could not honor it as he had already given me the $55 discount. I told him I wanted the 12% ($100) off coupon used, not the $55.00 coupon. He became visible angry, slammed my keys into the bill, picked them up and walked over to a woman (Andrea?) and told me she would help me. The woman was very friendly and polite. The kind of customer service one hopes for when dealing with a vendor. I still do not know whether the back taillight was the same one repaired earlier as Nick never informed me of the status of that issue. Someone needs to talk to Nick about how to be deal with customers to make them feel welcome and valued. I came away from my experience with Nick (and therefore Morrie’s) with a very negative view of customer service at Morrie’s service center. More
