I was driving by Morrie's and spotted a few vehicles that caught my attention so I stopped to check them out. I was immediately greeted on the lot by Doug - super friendly and not pressuring at all. He asked what I was looking for in a car and I immediately told him I was looking to trade in my 2008 Mazda CX-7. I loved the car but gas was an issue for expense as I was looking for a more "economical car". He showed me few, but I had my eye on a Volkswagon Beetle at the time. He then asked if I'd like to take it out for a drive? I said "Great!" As we were heading into get the keys, we passed a Volkswagon Rabbit that had just been traded in. He asked me what I thought about it, told me some info on it and I ended up taking it out for a drive instead and LOVED IT! Next would be what would happen with financing and such? I was happily surprised as I got a great trade-in for my Mazda and the dealership was able to work out a great deal. The whole staff, Doug included, were kind, compassionate. I appreciate all that was done by all involved. Thank you for the positive experience - Love my VW Rabbit!!!! More
We recently purchased a used 2008 Jeep Liberty. This was our 5th car in 2 years that we have purchased from Morrie's 394. All of our vehicles were purchased through either Melissa or Adam. They rocked our world in their ability to locate a car that fit our needs & price limit every time. On our last purchase, we needed to have the Jeep serviced, and we worked closely with Amir, who after a bit of negotiation, agreed to repair the jeep under their 30 day "buy happy" warranty. Amir as well as the entire service department went far and above to see that the problem was handled. Without a doubt, this dealership is THE place to buy a new or used car and we will not look anywhere else. More
Was treated very poorly by service agent, Doug Platt. Mr. Platt blamed third party company for screwing up my sensor when they installed tires 5 months, 5,000 miles ago. When asked why the sensor didn't go off prior he stated that the there is no time limit for when these sensors go off and the only reason we have these sensors is because people weren't doing their job of checking their tire pressure when filling up with gas so the federal government had to get involved. He continued on to talk about his $30,000 dollar specialized computer and how it would tell us exactly what was wrong- computer said that the sensor was not installed properly. Had opportunity to talk to mechanic and asked him if he thought it was weird that my tires were installed 5 months/5,000 miles ago and the light was just coming on now and he said he thought that was weird. Throughout entire time at dealership- Doug treated me with no respect and was very condescending. I left dealership and my Sensor light came back on within 20 miles after leaving dealership. Went back the next day and mechanic had to call Hyundai Hotline to get answers- ended up being an issue that was covered under warranty- was not third party's fault, evidently Doug's $30,000 dollar computer makes mistakes! Service manager was out of town-but made it clear to service agent that I wanted to talk to him when he came back into town and asked if I should call or wait for the manager to call me. Was told manager would call me. Waited and waited, never received a call, so I called him. Explained to him the situation and he said that that did not sound like Doug and Doug usually gets really good reviews. That was all he said in response- asked for the general manager to call which he did. Told him of the situation and he also said that that did not sound like Doug and he was sorry and that was all he could say. Was disgusted with manager response to situation, evidently managers at this dealership condone rude, and condescending service agents. More
I came in today for a standard oil change and I ended up trading in my 09 Civic for a 09 Sonata and I could not be happier! My sales peeps Heidi and Amir were awesome! I felt like I was buying a car from family, I had a great time today trading in my vehicle. I told Heidi what I needed in a car and she got me into exactly what I wanted. Amir crunched some numbers and made my day. They were a stellar team! My first experience with Morries 394 was with David Minikus when I bought my Honda, he was great too. When I got my Honda it was the right car for me then, with my family expanding I have a four door Hyundai and it's the perfect car for me now. Every time I get in my new suv I know I am completely covered in case of emergency. The warranty just covers everything. Best thing I've done for me in a long time. More
