I had a scheduled appointment and I arrived hours early because I was in the area and didn’t want to waste gas. I was greeted by the service advisors and they were able to squeeze me in and I out of ther because I was in the area and didn’t want to waste gas. I was greeted by the service advisors and they were able to squeeze me in and I out of there in under 30 minutes. Thank you More
My family and I have been longtime patrons of Moritz Kia (Hurst, mostly), bought a few cars, routine service, etc. While I can give great marks to the Hurst location in sales and service, I definitely cann (Hurst, mostly), bought a few cars, routine service, etc. While I can give great marks to the Hurst location in sales and service, I definitely cannot at the Alliance location. I'm not sure why Moritz Kia Alliance even bothers taking appointments. I had a 9:00 am appointment which I arrived to at 8:54 am. My brakes were making a scraping sound at low speeds. The person who checked me in was not the service advisor that I booked the appointment with and when checking me in, made it sound like they didn't have much time to look at my car. No shuttle service or loaner cars. Basically, have someone come get you, get an Uber, or wait it out. Or, go somewhere else for service, which is what I will be doing next time. These guys just don't seem to care. It's a money-making machine, nothing more. Just before 10:30 am, I still did not see my car in the garage being inspected, nor was I given any kind of update as to the timetable of when that may happen. A guy came out (also not the service advisor who I made the appointment with) asking if I was someone else and I asked what the deal was. His answer was that "the garage is backed up" and he offered to pay for an Uber back to my place. Hence the two stars instead of one star. Fast forward to 12:15 pm and I still have no callback. I call the ACTUAL service advisor for an update. Car still has not been looked at. He said there was a "miscommunication" on whether I would be leaving the car or waiting at which I CLEARLY stated to the guy checking me in that I would be waiting. The service advisor took no accountability beyond the word "miscommunication" and his tone basically sounded like he was faulting me with said "miscommunication." I asked for an update by 3:00 pm as to what the deal was. He did everything but commit to said update. He also did not commit to the service being completed same day. He supposedly was going to "put some pressure on them" to get my car in before "he steps out for a bite to eat." Must be nice to be able to go somewhere to get food while I'm stuck at home with no car. Finally, at 2:47 pm, nearly six hours since my appointment time, I receive a call that they needed to replace the rotor and brake pads, but the rotor would need to be ordered and would arrive the next day. Well great, so I have to leave my car overnight. If they had kept my appointment time and inspected the brakes at that time, they would have known in enough time to get the rotor same day and finish the repair, but because they drug their feet all day, I had to be without a car. The service advisor said they would start on it first thing when they received the part in the morning. I decided not to hold my breath. The next morning, at 10:00 am, I called for a status update. Service advisor stated they did not receive the rotor yet, but expected to within an hour. I said that I would call back for another update at Noon after they should have received the rotor. He said that wouldn't be necessary since he may not have much of an update at that time. Whatever, saying there is no update is in fact, an update. So I kept to my word and called back at Noon. They received the part and were waiting on the technician to return from lunch. They really love their lunch breaks! I decided that I would give them until 3:00 pm to update me before calling again. As the clock on the stay of execution ticked away, he finally calls with 13 minutes to spare at 2:47 pm saying the car was ready. Almost 36 hours from the time of my appointment. This was absolutely, hands down, the most abysmal service I have ever received from any car repair shop. The "Moritz Promise" is empty at Moritz Kia Alliance. I will be taking my car elsewhere in the future. If I absolutely need a dealership to look at my car, I will go to Moritz Kia Hurst instead where they have always treated me and my family well. I suggest you all do the same. More
I was very pleased on how fast they replaced my engine and they even gave me a loaner car while my car was in the shop. I thought it was going to take weeks to get my car back, but I got it back within 2 and they even gave me a loaner car while my car was in the shop. I thought it was going to take weeks to get my car back, but I got it back within 2 weeks and the customer service was great and I want to thank Steve and his crew for there quick response to my recall issue and dedication. Thanks again! More
