Moon Township Honda - Service Center

You've been warned I wish I could give them zero stars. My Honda has less than 11k miles on it and the tires are shot. I called Honda and they said I had to call Firestone so I did. Firestone gave me a new set of tires for 50 percent off but they also did an alignment check. The front alignment was OK but the back was off and there is no adjustment for the back so Firestone recommended I go back to Honda. So I went to this Honda service department and showed them the printout from Firestone. I was informed that they would have to double check the alignment before they could do anything and had me make another appointment to bring the car in. When I took the car back to Honda service I was THEN informed that I would have to PAY for the alignment check. They refused to contact Honda about the problem. I was never informed there would be any charge when I made the appointment. The so-called Service Manager was rude and uncaring. He told me he could not do anything until I paid for an alignment. When I asked what he would do if it proved that the first alignment was correct, he didn't have an answer. He also told me that I may have hit a pothole that did not affect the adjustable front alignment, but only affected the non-adjustable rear alignment. Also the alleged pothole did not hurt the tire or rim. Sound like BS? P.S. This brand new car also had the battery go dead 3 times for no obvious reason (had to call road service). You have been warned.. Don't buy a Honda and especially stay away from this Dealer for your service. More

Honda moom service center is a joke I would never ever recommend honda moon service center to anyone. They said it would be an hour and it will be done. I droped of off first thing off in the morning and waited till 430 to call them and they said it wasnt done yet. Then they said they will be charging me for extra items they found. I have work in the morning and they cant get me a rental because they wait till the last minute to not even call me. They do not do loaner cars this place is an absolute joke and i would not recommend it to my worst enemy. More

They did a good job at a reasonable rate but when I asked about the spare key fob needing maybe a battery replaced I was told it needed programmed ect. The cost would be close to 100 dollars I said no its just a spare. Than being a v6 his grandfather had bought a new honda factory belt water pump ect all honda parts before going there I looked online honda north has a special to do the job parts included 599 dollars but again I asked moon honda told them I had all factory parts they told me a bit over 600 I could not understand that because the parts alone were 300 dollars well anyways I checked with parts on a needed part very nice people but did not have the part in stock said shady side honda had one but they could have it there tomorrow we decided to just ride to shady side while there I asked parts about the spare key fob the guy said no problem he walked out to the car put it in the ignition turned and hit a button three times and it worked I was shocked it took him 2 mins. I asked what I owed he said nothing I was like wow. So I decide to ask service about the belt and pump ect job. explained about having parts and honda norths coupon he said it about 5.8 hr job but they would work with me when I was ready probably around 500 or a bit under he would talk to his manager when ready. Bottom line moon honda does not care about business or customers and I am sure and hope people honestly read this and go to shady side honda where if nothing else you will feel as if you are important. Thank you if you took the time to read this oh and moon honda never responded or listened to my complaint that I feel was valid. Again thank you. More
