I only gave this dealership one star because I had to. I would give them no stars if I could. They lied about recalls. They lied about owning the collision center behind the dealership. They didn’t pursue f would give them no stars if I could. They lied about recalls. They lied about owning the collision center behind the dealership. They didn’t pursue fixing the dash that I found the ford service bulletin for. They didn’t disclose that the key they gave me wasn’t an admin key (which prevents me from resetting max speed limits among other things). They didn’t disclose that the center headrest was missing on the front seat. They also failed to mention the truck I was purchasing looked like it was waxed with sandpaper. This was impossible to notice in their poorly lit parking lot at night. When I brought it back to them less then 12 hours later they gave me two options- have some company called “Luster” try to “patch” it up or have their body shop fix it and it and it would be “perfect”. Mind you, this was a $30,000, 2019 model truck, not a ten year old beater. Then, they did me a “favor” by paying half the repair bill at the body shop that they said they didn’t own. Then, after having it for almost two weeks called me to say it was done. What a shocker it was to find that when I picked it up you could still see an imperfection in the door where they fixed a dent that they agreed to repair and there was still deep scratches on the bed sides that they told me would be painted. Then, back peddled and stated they never agreed to fix ALL the scratches and the truck would never be perfect again. During this process I repeatedly asked for an estimate and after several times of asking was sent a hand written copy on a note pad. I will NEVER purchase from ANY Montrose dealership ever again. I will never recommend anyone to patronize this business in any way. More

Very dissatisfied! Took truck in for engine light & hub replacement $1016. Went back in with 300 miles in 6-8 weeks after last service, Engine light was back on, 4WD wasn't working. Wanted $560 to fix t replacement $1016. Went back in with 300 miles in 6-8 weeks after last service, Engine light was back on, 4WD wasn't working. Wanted $560 to fix the 4WD which was working before it went in, but not when picked up and $2300 to fix the engine light. Charged $200 for diagnostics testing, which I shouldn't have had to pay with it only having 300 miles since it was picked up Sept 29th.. All they want is money, and it seems like they just guess at repairs. The truck is now at an honest repair shop and we shall see what is wrong with the truck. More
Greatest car buying experience...EVER!!! "Greatest car buying experience ever!!!" sounds pretty extreme, and maybe even a little over the top. But I wouldn't write it, if it weren't true. I "Greatest car buying experience ever!!!" sounds pretty extreme, and maybe even a little over the top. But I wouldn't write it, if it weren't true. I have purchased many new and used vehicles over the years, at several different dealerships. Due to several unfortunate circumstances affecting my career and personal life, over a 10-year period, my personal credit went from stellar, to embarrassingly bad. True, the circumstances were out of my control. But I was always proud of my strong credit history, as well as the vehicles I drove. That has not been the case over the past several years. My credit was poor, and I was driving vehicles that I never thought I would be driving because of it. I made a very difficult financial decision in late 2018, to clean the slate and start over. Since that time, I've worked extremely hard to rebuild my personal credit. Last weekend, I received a flyer from Jessica "Jess" Bradford, a Sales Professional at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn, Ohio. Jess' message in the flyer was that although my recent credit history is poor, that she could still put me in a new or pre-owned vehicle. Needless to say, I was extremely skeptical, because of the countless times I've been turned down for a loan, any loan, over the past several years. But I work about five minutes from Montrose Ford, so I made an appointment to meet with Jess at around lunchtime. Jess was there to meet me when I walked into the dealership. She met me with a smile, and a confident handshake. One of the first things I said to her, was that I didn't even know what I was doing there, because I was sure I would be turned down for any vehicle, and any loan. I could not have been more wrong. I NEVER expected to happen, what ended up happening. Working her "magic", as well as with the banks, manager, and finance manager, I left THAT day, a few hours after walking the door with zero expectations, in a beautiful 2017 bright red Mustang GT!!! A car with only 7,000 miles on it, and a car I've coveted for a very long time, and never thought I would be able to get. Jess, and Montrose Ford, literally made my dream come true. She, and the dealership, have a loyal customer and fan form life. If you're in the market for a new or used vehicle, and even if your credit is less than stellar, do yourself a favor, and make an appointment with Jess, you will be very glad you did!!! Bobby D More
Good experience I came in to look at a car and Will Sutton showed it to me. Later he came back and said finance wanted to put me in another car due too my bad credit I came in to look at a car and Will Sutton showed it to me. Later he came back and said finance wanted to put me in another car due too my bad credit so I looked at a few other cars and the finance guy kept messing me around until I threatened to leave. Miraculously he was able to get me the payment I wanted on the car I came in to buy. I want to say Will was great very knowledgeable and no pressure through this whole process. In conclusion I would highly recommend Will Sutton as a salesman and would highly recommend this dealership if you need a car after bankruptcy. More

Satisfied Customer! We recently purchased a 2013 F150 Lariat. This was our second buy from Montrose - the first, a new Explorer a couple years ago. Buying a used vehicle We recently purchased a 2013 F150 Lariat. This was our second buy from Montrose - the first, a new Explorer a couple years ago. Buying a used vehicle requires a knowledgeable sales person, and particularly one you can trust. Calvin was very helpful, not pushy, and knew the product. Both he and Mike Patton helped get things wrapped up pretty quickly. Both my wife and I are happy with the people at Montrose Ford and we’ll be back. Thanks. Daryl P. More
Horrible! I only gave one star cause the salesman was nice. I was low balled on my trade, less than kelly blue book fair trade in, educated on why (which didn't I only gave one star cause the salesman was nice. I was low balled on my trade, less than kelly blue book fair trade in, educated on why (which didn't make sense as my truck had 21k miles and looked in amazing condition and loaded (Toyota). The education from the guy who came back with numbers was uncalled for. He wouldn't budge on the trade amount. He quotes me a payment from 800-1000. rediculous! Let's just say I went to Liberty Ford, received 3k more for my trade, further vehicle discounts (for a similar vehicle year and options), incentives, special financing as my credit is worthy, and had my payment within my asking payment for the same amount of terms (including additional vehicle coverage, which I didn't plan into my original want of a monthly payment, but still was at my expectations)I will enjoy my new F-150, but not thanks to them. I don't know the guy's name who came into the deal to talk number as I became so furious and wouldn't even take his card, but as mentioned before the salesperson was nice and respectful. More
