They sent me the credit app as you can see in my email they ran my credit and got it approved through Ford with a Mike in their finance department. Just a normal deal as many of my other car purchases, “well so I thought.” I was supposed to get the paperwork in the mail on Thursday or Friday and didn’t show up, so I called the dealership and texted Daniel asking where is my paperwork as you can see in the text screen shot. After some waiting I get a text saying the original guy that ordered it wants it now, I’m like I don’t care what does that have to do with me? We made a deal! (As you can see in my screen shot) Pissed off, I call the the “GM Joe Dyer” who is trying to screw me out of the deal and asked what is up? I told him I made a deal with Daniel, you ran my credit, got it approved and now you are snaking the car out from underneath me? He just said yes! What the actual F! Am I wrong here thinking they can just snake a car away after the deal was made and the ran my credit under false pretenses just to take the car and sell it to someone else? The deal was literally done with me already I was paying 17k over sticker, I think they were offered more without telling me, that’s the only thing that makes sense from the people I have talked to. I’m going to find out what recourse I have because this is just wrong and bad business! Joe Dyer “the GM” said “well we like to have back up buyers” why the xxxx would I have them run my credit to be a back up buyer, that the dumbest crap I have ever heard! More

I was in the market for a fun Roush F-150 truck with insane horsepower. I was not disappointed. I first found Montrose Ford on Ebay. They had the best prices and selection of all the national Roush de insane horsepower. I was not disappointed. I first found Montrose Ford on Ebay. They had the best prices and selection of all the national Roush dealers. So I checked out their website and found some trucks that interested me. I read most of the good reviews, and weighed the very few bad ones (the ones with poor grammer sic.). I messaged the dealership, and was greeted by Alex, who invited me up to take a look. I looked down the rows of Roush fossil fueled rocket-powered cars and trucks and found the one for me. These things are so fast they make time turn backwards. It was a great experience, smooth sale, super friendly staff, Alex, Will and Mike. Covid rules applied, and I drove happily home with my new Roush time-machine. Funny thing, the 250 mile trip, it took me 4 hours to get there, but only 2 to get home. More

Shady dealer alert, go anywhere else If you are looking for a shady deal on an F150, Montrose has you covered. Montrose advertised the truck at an attractive price that included Ford rebates. I called and asked if I could also get 0% financing and the answer was yes. I negotiated a fair trade on my 2015 F150. The salesman, returned with a monthly payment that was higher than I expected. I asked why and he told me that I could not apply both the Ford rebate and 0% financing. I understood this to be a Ford "one-or-the-other" deal. I negotiated a deal without the rebate. This was during the COVID-19 virus outbreak and all done with text messages, phone calls and emails. I had asked for the cost breakdown to be emailed to me a couple of times and all I got was a monthly payment. I should have walked away at this point, my bad. To respect social distancing recommendations I asked to have everything ready when I got there. A sign and drive deal. When I arrived at the dealership, I signed off quickly and left the facility. When I got home I read through the deal and found that there was a $3000 rebate included, essentially going straight to Montrose Ford. In summary they were dishonest about the rebate and took advantage of the situation. This is exactly why car salesmen often have a bad reputation. Yes, my bad for not taking the time to review the contract before I signed it. This isn’t my first rodeo, I should know better. I shared my discontent with the salesman and he did offer to have his sales manager contact me. I responded saying that if he was going to call me and offer me condolences for my loss, don’t bother. If he wants to do something about it, he has my number. I never heard back from them. The Ford F150 is a great product that deserves better than Montrose Ford. More

February 2019, they sold me a truck that was at a retail price with a clean title, I was not informed of any red flags or damage history, (Wouldn’t of considered buying the truck If I seen the history.) Come to find out the truck was rolled, and totaled out, then sold at a auto recycler for parts, out of state back in 2010. The state it was repaired in, then inspected the truck and issued a clean title in Missouri. Found out about history due to trying to trade the truck. Keep in mind the truck books for my payoff in fair condition. so I attempt to trade the truck. They inform me the history I stated above about the truck and offered a fraction of the fair trade in. That Does not sound like the Montrose promise. now I’ve been trying to get documentation that was made aware of accident history. Went to the dealership Saturday 3/14, salesman kept beating around the bush on acquiring paper work I wanted copy’s of. Today 3/16, got a call from the manager but was unable to answer the phone due to work. Called back on my lunch break but had to leave a message because the manager was on lunch 10 minutes till 1pm. Did not receive a call back by the time I got off work. So I go down to the store when I get off work to see what could be done. As I walk in I was not greeted when I walked into the show room. Had to approach the same salesman I dealt with on 3/14/20. Was informed it would take 3-5 days to get said documents. 3/20/20 told they are short staffed and couldn’t get the paper work. Now I feel like I’m not getting anywhere. Won’t offer fair trade in value on their “clean title” truck. What a promise you have gave montrose ford of Akron. Currently waiting for this issue to be resolved 3/30 manager called me back, now waiting to see what can be down about this situation. More
