I went in because I had really poor body work done and after much aggravation finally decided to give up on the morons I'd dealt with...wow, what a change when I went to Montrose. Staff at the counter wa after much aggravation finally decided to give up on the morons I'd dealt with...wow, what a change when I went to Montrose. Staff at the counter was great and as I was explaining all the problems the owner overheard and got personally involved...try getting that at most dealerships. The sweet part was the work they did...outstanding! The paintwork was fantastic and they even touched up a spot unrelated to the accident. Above and beyond! Thanks Rick and your team! More
My overall experience at Montrose Dodge was horrible. I don't think I've ever been treated as rudely by any business. The dealership is a relatively small store with just a few cars in their small showroom and a very small lot. The salespeople seem to care only to make a profit and were not at all helpful. I was very unhappy with the people I dealt with and would not recommend anyone shopping for a Dodge to even bother going to this dealership. More
My Jeep went in on Thursday for 40,000 preventative maintenance, to inlcude front brake and resurfacing of rotors, alignment, balence of tires and replacement of all four shocks. The Jeep went in feeli maintenance, to inlcude front brake and resurfacing of rotors, alignment, balence of tires and replacement of all four shocks. The Jeep went in feeling fine with a little bit of brake wear on it (I could tell the pads needed replacement so that was not the issue). When I picked up the Jeep on Friday, I noticed a significant wobble at 55mph, and worse when I braked. Called them, brought it back on Monday. By Wednesday they had replaced the rotors, charging me another 160.00 on top of the 1,400 they had already charged me. I pick it back up on Thursday, it is STILL shaking at 55-70. Bring it right back to them, sit for 2.5 hours while they "look" at it, though I watched them only take it for a test drive (which lasted about 15 min max.) about 2 hours after being there. They now don't know whats wrong they think it is a shock in my steering column. Friday, my boyfriend takes the GM for a ride, literally showing him the shake. As of Friday, they still have my Jeep and no solution! Final opinion not established yet, but as of right now, they are getting a FAILING grade. FINAL OPINION--FINALLY got the Jeep back, it is still shaking, they determined that it was wear of the tires. Maybe the first thing to have done was to put each tire on a balence, see if they balence, but again, that also might have taken a week to get accomplished. BF had a meeting with the GM and the Service manager there, ended up with a few free parts and getting some of the insurence required on the rental taken care of which I will say I definately appreciated, but after a LOT of aggrevation, additional stress, money and tears, Montrose Dodge in Germatown MD does not get my vote, additionally, I am contacting General Motors, and the Department of Consumer Affairs.
