No break checking or recommendations during state inspecti The service is joke. I have state and emission inspection done 10 days back. After driving few hundred miles, all off a sudden metallic sound started The service is joke. I have state and emission inspection done 10 days back. After driving few hundred miles, all off a sudden metallic sound started coming and I stopped car on highway and then towed to near by Nissan dealership. They said rear break, drum and rotor needed to be changed because the break pad were worn out. I am sure during state inspection They have checked breaks and should have recommended low break pad replacement. Will never buy any Nissan products or recommend any one.. More
To sum it all up, this place is an absolute joke. I went in on May 17th to have some transmission issues checked out - I still have my powertrain warranty so I figured there would be no harm in a checkup. I in on May 17th to have some transmission issues checked out - I still have my powertrain warranty so I figured there would be no harm in a checkup. I made an appointment, went in in the morning, gave my keys, explained the situation, and waited around. 1) "Test Drive" - The technician who test drove my car took it up to 79mph.. on the road in front of the dealership (the end of a highway, a normal road). I know this because I pulled my GPS data when I got home, and it wasn't a surprise that for 0.5 miles the speed was a constant 79mph (then dropping to 62). This is twice the speed limit, do you need to speed to "test" if there are any issues? Absolute bullsh**. I pulled the data twice off my GPS to confirm that this was indeed the speed. 2) "We will check if there are any stored codes on the ECU" - No, no you won't. I have a Garmin Ecoroute HD plugged into my OBD port (to monitor temperature, check codes etc.) and whenever you pull it out you need to reconfigure it to your GPS. When I got in my car, I didn't have to, and I just pulled it out now to check if I had to reconfigure it again (I did). This leads me to believe that my ECU was never checked for any codes. 3) "Since you modded your car your warranty isn't valid for this issue" - Once again, no. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act exists for this very reason (which states that if an issue is found and a modification is DIRECTLY related to the cause of this issue, your warranty is void). They didn't even find out what the issue was, but instead went straight to blaming anything that wasn't stock. With that, this was a complete waste of my time. Besides the technician taking my car up to nearly 80mph, lies about checking codes, this place is severely outdated; while other dealerships have revamped their whole atmosphere, this one is in dire need of renovation. They have a couple of chairs in the waiting room, a popcorn machine (literally), two vending machines and a coffee maker. Wow. Please stay away from this dump. I'm about to file a complaint with Nissan Consumer Affairs, but I doubt that'll do anything. More
Horrible service, incompetent technicians, takes 3 guys to find a problem and only find it after they destroy everything else on your car in the process, and then charge you for all their mistakes. My ca to find a problem and only find it after they destroy everything else on your car in the process, and then charge you for all their mistakes. My car was takin there running, and ended up completely not starting due to the "work" they did on it. Was then told car would be ready for pick up 3 separate times, that I would hear from them later in the day, only to receive no phone call. Told they would keep me informed as to what was going on repeatedly to also receive no phone call or information, until I called after them. Horrible experience, would never take my car there again, and I highly suggest that no one else does either. More
