I scheduled an appointment with the Internet Customer Specialist and arrived early at the dealership---I was told that the sales person who met me at the dealership would handle my request---first they s Specialist and arrived early at the dealership---I was told that the sales person who met me at the dealership would handle my request---first they said the car I had an appointment to see was not there---then it magically appeared---but I could not drive it--then I could and did but was not allowed to travel far enough to even test the transmission. I was then told a price--I made an offer 5% lower---was turned down and said they would call me when it was available for sale.--never heard another word---was not even given a business card.--Sent multiple emails to the Internet Specialist---no reply! I bought eleswhere. More
Overall I would recommend Monroeville Kia, however, with a few caveats. My sales rep Anthony was excellent and I would definitely recommend him. Every one of their new vehicles comes wit h an "Appearance Protection Coatings" for which they charge $995. I stated that I did not want this and that it should be optional, but was refused. This immediately added almost $1,000 to the price of the vehicle. Again deceptive. I went ahead with the purchase as I was offered significantly more for my trade-in than what I was offered at Smail Kia in Greensburg. Also, the Document Preparation Fee of $449 seemed excessive. This dealership not only helps you get the best deals, but their Sales Consultant Austin Harper is simply the best in the Pittsburgh Area. I've had my '16 Soul in twice for recalled issues. The second time, they kept it for over 2 weeks. It was only after I called repeatedly that I got in touch with anyone. I dealt primarily with Jason. The second time, they kept it for over 2 weeks. It was only after I called repeatedly that I got in touch with anyone. I dealt primarily with Jason. He never seemed interested in keeping me informed of what was going on. This was a warranty issue and it was 5 days before I got a loner car. I got a call this morning that the car was done and the rental would not be paid after today. Good thing I was able to make quick arrangements. A professional would have called yesterday to say the part was in and that the car would be ready today. But in order to do that, a person would have to treat the customer as a customer and not like an inconvenience. This whole issue has been disappointing. I should have looked elsewhere. More

I made comment to husband that it didn't feel right that their salesperson would benefit from sale, when Anthony was so much more deserving. Then thought they could add $3000 to cost. When confronted stated all Dealers were doing this. Went back to Monroeville and met with Anthony. He explained that the vehicle we originally looked at had sold that morning and assisted us with finding another. He reviewed all features, rode with us again and synced my phone to the vehicle He, as well as the finance (Val and Christine) all stayed well past closing to ensure we left satisfied. More
