Went to many places for them to turn me away and finally after I searched there and sat down with nick, that night I signed for a new truck! Definitely a place to check out if you're in the market for a car or truck! More

High pressure bait and switch I was recently looking for a new Dodge Journey and requested quotes for some cars at Monroeville Dodge through Dodge.com. I corresponded a couple time I was recently looking for a new Dodge Journey and requested quotes for some cars at Monroeville Dodge through Dodge.com. I corresponded a couple times with their Internet salesperson and received a quote via e-mail that listed the MSRP, a sale price, a discount, rebates (matching the $3500 Chrysler was offering) and a final Internet Sales Price with all of the discounts offered. There was a disclaimer that the Internet Sales Price was plus tax, title, and fees. There were no other disclaimers in the e-mail or indications about pricing eligibility. On the basis of their quote, a grabbed a friend and drove over 90 minutes to the dealership. When I got there, the salesperson told me price was contingent upon having a lease, being active duty military, and a recent college grad. I was upset about the bait-and-switch and this was only exacerbated by the salesperson proceeding to yell at me for expecting them to honor the listed price. After going to the sales manager, they did agree to honor their listed price but then added a $319 service coupon package only usable at the dealership. I told them I couldn't use the coupons because of the distance but they refused to remove it. I told them I needed to think about it and their salesman snickered I should go talk with my "partner" about it. I came back in and told them I would not do the deal that evening and needed to think about it overnight given the experience I'd had. They then told me the deal expired that night and basically called me an idiot for not taking it. I left. I'd look elsewhere, but if you deal with Monroeville, make sure you have everything in detail in writing. More
Horrible Customer Service I had contacted Monroeville Dodge about purchasing a 2014 Durango. The dealership did not have the have the model in stock that I wanted. They did I had contacted Monroeville Dodge about purchasing a 2014 Durango. The dealership did not have the have the model in stock that I wanted. They did a dealer search and located one for me. Due to the drive time of 1 hour, I was unable to make it to the dealership that evening to put down the required deposit in order for Monroeville Dodge to go an pick up the Durango from another dealer. The salesman, Chad Carpenter, said that I could give him my credit card info and fill out a credit application over the phone to cover the deposit and that they needed and would have it for me the next day. I was then contacted the next morning @ 9:30am while I was at work to let me know the vehicle was there and they wanted to finalize the deal. I explained that I was work and was unable to talk. Chad Carpenter and the sales manager Jeff Yates continued to call and pressure me throughout the day. During these calls we tried to negotiate the cost of the navigation system. Jeff offered free tanks of gas, oil changes, etc. Jeff stated that he could fill my gas tank for me, but couldn't take anything more of the cost of the navigation. Jeff stated by giving me free gas instead, that this could be hidden from his supervisors and would offset the cost of the navigation. I texted Chad when I finished work to find out what time they were open to. He replied 9pm. I then texted him back to see how long it would take to get the Durango ready for delivery. I was ignored and didn't receive any communication back for two hours. In the mean time, my wife and I decided to get leave for the dealership anyway to make sure we got there in time since we had a 90 minute drive. When we were 5 minutes away from the dealership, I received a text from Chad stating that they sold the vehicle that I had put down a deposit on. This vehicle was my supposed to be my wife's anniversary present. This is the reason car dealerships and car salesman have a bad rap. Its dealerships like Monroeville Dodge. Save yourself the headache go somewhere else. More
Buyer beware! All I have to truly say about this place is good luck getting anything done, heaven forbid your car has any interior, exterior, or mechanical issues. All I have to truly say about this place is good luck getting anything done, heaven forbid your car has any interior, exterior, or mechanical issues. They're great at blowing smoke up a persons butt just to "assure" them that things will be taken care of, when in reality it's a waste of time all together. They'll continually apologize for everything and say that they will fix the issues, I'd love to know who hires the mechanics and body shop guys up there. Because they're absolutely terrible at their job and take ZERO pride in their work. It's almost as if they find the most lazy, unmotivated individuals possible and let them run wild in their garages and body shops. Once you've made a purchase from the dealership you become just another number to them. Their customer service and business practices are hands down the worst I've ever encountered. The staff will tell you anything you want to hear, just to smooth things over. But in reality, what do they truly care? If you want to be treated unfairly and be scammed, sure go to monroeville dodge. If you want to avoid a constant headache and being lied to, I'd highly advise anyone reading this to PLEASE consider buying your car from a more reputable and respected car dealership in the area. This place has given me nothing but grief and unresolved issues more than once. Sincerely, Someone who has had enough More
Extremely high pressure to immediately buy a vehicle that was not exactly what we wanted. Salesman was OK (typical new car salesman), but we were handed off to floor manager. Floor manager was very rude. was not exactly what we wanted. Salesman was OK (typical new car salesman), but we were handed off to floor manager. Floor manager was very rude. He tried to intimidate and embarrass us into making a hasty decision to buy the vehicle that he wanted to sell, even though it did not have certain features that were important to us. Because they did not have a vehicle that met our requirements on their lot, they did a search of other dealers' stock. The vehicle they found and tried to pressure us to buy still did not have certain key features that we wanted, although they claimed it did. (We checked it online later, and indeed it did not have the features that they claimed it had.) When we politely refused to buy because the vehicle was not what we wanted and because we wanted more time to think and shop around, the floor manager became belligerent. I have shopped and purchased at many car dealers over the years, but this was by far the worst car shopping experience I have ever had. Our experience was that Monroeville Dodge does not know how to treat a customer. They were impolite, they would not allow us to take our time to make a decision, and they pressed us to buy a vehicle that they had or could easily get rather than what we wanted. More
So I've been looking for a dodge dart for a while now. I've done some pretty extensive research on them and know exactly the model year color trim ext. that I want. When I inquired to monroeville dod now. I've done some pretty extensive research on them and know exactly the model year color trim ext. that I want. When I inquired to monroeville dodge about my dart because they had a special going on and thought this was my opportunity to buy one. I had called before hand to schedule a test drive and see what their inventory was like. The sales lady I talked to answered all of my questions. But they did not have the model or trim of the dart I was looking for. However said they had similar and I could test drive one of those. Then we can proceed to maybe order straight from dodge. When I arrived I was promptly greeted at my window. Before I even parked by a foreign man whom I could barely understand trying to see what I wanted to buy. After I parked he was at my door waiting for me. I told him I had to see the manager cause he was waiting for me. I was expecting to meet up with the lady I talked to and deal with her because she was nice and less intimidating than a man. I was looking for a dart rallye edition in header orange that is a manual transmission. When I told the guy this he looked at me like I was crazy. And tried to get me to like an automatic. Since they only had an se model in a manual I decided to take their only header orange dart out for a test drive. It was an stx and auto. The only thing that fit my criteria was the orange. It was a nice ride and I liked the car in general. Would love it if it were a rallye and a manual. After the test drive I told them, again what I really wanted. They were so extremely persistent on me selling me the dart I test drive. I hated that. They had 3 different people come tell me that they would have to order the car I wanted from dodge and could take up to 6 months or more to arrive. So I said that that would be fine because time isn't an issue for me. I just want the car I want. After they debated with me about it for about 10-15 minutes. They offered me a dart limited with all the bells and whistles. Not exactly the one I wanted. I told them I would think about it and get back to them. I'm probably just going to get my car from somewhere else. I wasn't very satisfied with how they treated me there. More
I had been looking for the car I wanted for 6 months. The one I had been looking for showed up at their website. I made the deal I was look for except they make you buy their service coupon book. I hav The one I had been looking for showed up at their website. I made the deal I was look for except they make you buy their service coupon book. I have no use for it but they were persistent. This reason alone will keep me from ever buying a new car from them again. I purchased two other vehicles from another dealer. I am pleased with this dealer. They give you 3 free oil changes and life time inspections and no pressure to buy something you do not want. Do not remember the sales person name. More
Monroeville Mazda Collision center was the WORST place I could have chosen to take my vehicle. As a female with no experience, I felt taken advantage of and dis respected once the dealership had control of could have chosen to take my vehicle. As a female with no experience, I felt taken advantage of and dis respected once the dealership had control of my vehicle. The shop dragged out the process of deciding whether or not my vehicle was totaled and claimed that they wouldn't disclose any information to me until they knew which insurance company was taking fault. After a week of going back and fourth and jerked around about whether or not the estimate was complete, the shop manager called me to say that it was totaled and I'd need to give them the ok to fix it quickly because my rental car would run out of time. The pressure he put on me was rude, and disrespectful, and had no right making the call about whether or not the vehicle was totaled without an appraiser being sent out. I would not recommend taking your car here if it needs work done after an accident, there is no value of the customer and all they wanted was to make money off of my accident. More
