Since 1966 our family-owned dealership has helped drivers from across the region find the perfect vehicle. Our roots in the Monroe, MI community go back to our early beginnings on West Front Street. That year, Ralph Mahalak Sr. founded Monroe Dodge with eight employees and limited resources. Monroe Dodge overcame its initial struggles to form a customer base and with much hard work, grew to the point where it moved to its current location on North Monroe Street. Monroe Dodge continued to move full stream ahead and excel in both the good and bad times in the automotive industry. Sadly, Ralph Mahalak Sr. passed away on June 6, 2017.
Today, his four sons; Ralph Mahalak Jr., Mike Mahalak, J.P. Mahalak & Alex Mahalak, follow in his footsteps and lead successful dealerships of their own. Four of which are located in Central Florida, Alfa Romeo Fiat of Winter Haven, Posner Park Chrysler, Dodge of Winter Haven & Lake Wales Chrysler. Ralph Mahalak Jr. is also a partner of Buckeye Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Fiat, with Steve Tetrick.

Would recommend but be AWARE. Our problem was NOT CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED. Car brought to dealership as problem was same as occurred 2 yrs ago - when Feldman Jeep replaced batt Our problem was NOT CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED. Car brought to dealership as problem was same as occurred 2 yrs ago - when Feldman Jeep replaced batteries (therefore under possible warranty) they did not have staff to check it out, so brought to Monroe. Diagnostics run - told new alternator needed. Opted to take vehicle to our own mechanic for repairs. Upon replacing alternator it was discovered that this was in fact NOT the problem. Upon further investigation, turns out that the grounding cable had broken off. It was actually sparking under the seat. We have photos. Any further questions, concerns - you may contact my husband, Bruce @ 313-363-6338. Thank you Julianna Link was 4-stars. There was just a misunderstanding about the "shop charges" of $15.28, which has been rectified. Not a huge issue. Much more concerned about the mis-diagnosis. Hoping that employees are informed to check the ground wire as a possibility, in the future if other customers experience the same issues (dimming lights / car stalling). More
