While am an expert at ordering online and having purchases delivered, I never thought of doing this with a car, let alone a Jag. But oh how pleased I am! I had been searching for an XK8 for months w purchases delivered, I never thought of doing this with a car, let alone a Jag. But oh how pleased I am! I had been searching for an XK8 for months when I found one on Autotrader.com. The next morning, My husband called and spoke to Dan who didn't have to "check with his manager" or "return our call" when he gave him our offer. Dan accepted and within a few days my new kitty was delivered right to my door! It's clean as a whistle and neat as a pin! He was true to his word, this car is sharp! Dan took the fear out of buying long distance. They have definitely done this before. Great experience! More
Purchasing a vehicle is stressful enough but doing it from a few states away and never getting so see it in person makes it even more difficult. But not with Momentum MotorCars. I am an active duty from a few states away and never getting so see it in person makes it even more difficult. But not with Momentum MotorCars. I am an active duty United States Marine and trusting people comes difficult not just due to my line of work, it is the way society has become. Well After talking with Dan Adams I felt confident in his word. I drove 8+ hours to make a trade with Momentum MotorCars and he was a man of his word. I made every deal on the phone and when I drove in the next day to drop my old truck off for the Ram I purchased from him it was better than i expected. There was no issues and I was back on the road headed home in my new truck in about an hour and a half. A few days later I was contacted again by Mr, Adams just to make sure everything was going well. I did have some issues with registration due to my own fault, all it took was a quick phone call to Mr. Adams and he over nigh ted me what i needed. I would highly recommend Momentum MotorCars to anyone looking into purchasing a vehicle. More
We just bought our fourth vehicle from Momentum and wouldn't use anyone else now. They take the hassle out of the process and gave me a fair price for our new car and our trade-in. I've referred seve wouldn't use anyone else now. They take the hassle out of the process and gave me a fair price for our new car and our trade-in. I've referred several friends to them and highly recommend them to anyway that wants a vehicle at a good price and without any of the typical car dealer drama. More
I was looking for a specific car, a gold 2011 BMW 528i, and Dan delivered. The process was seamless and to the point-I called on Friday to inquire about the vehicle and drove home in the car the following and Dan delivered. The process was seamless and to the point-I called on Friday to inquire about the vehicle and drove home in the car the following Tuesday. I really appreciated that Dan was patient and accommodated my work schedule (I work an hour away and couldn't make it to the dealership until close to closing). Most importantly, Dan is a man of his word. At the time of purchase, the second key could not be located; he stated he would mail to me when found. When I had forgotten about it, it shows up in the mail. Though I have had my car a little over a month, I am still raving about the great service I received at Momentum. I am a creature of habit and will go to Dan first for any vehicle purchase...and I suggest you do the same. More
Purchased a Porsche Cayenne from Dan and David. Overall experience was wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles, and are true businessmen. Very relaxed businessmen and personable. The experience was wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles, and are true businessmen. Very relaxed businessmen and personable. They really care about their business name and it shows with their quality of vehicles and customer service. I would (and have) recommended their dealership to others and plan on using them again. To drive from out of state to purchase a vehicle shows you the quality of the dealership alone. Detailed experience: Purchased a Porsche Cayenne from the dealership. It was (without features) priced below book, I think a couple of thousand if I recall correctly but not more than $5k. Vehicle was very clean, ran like a champion. Reignited my love for Porsche as this was to be my second one. Shortly after (2 weeks) I encountered a mechanical problem. They with extreme diligence took care of the problem at no cost to me. I've dealt with dealerships in the past where the experience is you bought it as is, your problem then you have a headache thereafter. I mean it was a completely hassle, headache free situation. I know a bit about cars, not enough to replace an engine but to do minor repairs I can handle. This was a fluke scenario that may have been overlooked by the Porsche dealership that just serviced it before they got it- so it wasn't like they were selling a junk car with a pretty wrapper. They provide carfax reports for their vehicles as well; very useful when it comes to knowing how a vehicle was taken care of. As stated before I would recommend using them again. They care about their reputation and will do their best to protect and uplift it. They are a small dealership that loves what they do and are here to provide an elite service. They are not your typical used car dealership. They specialize in luxury vehicles. With that specialization comes their effort to provide quality vehicles since you are talking about a high dollar vehicle. They price very reasonably as well. They don't over charge and hope you dont know the value of the vehicle and will pay more. They price reasonably. As a current law school student (and disabled vet) I am particular when it comes to how I conduct transactions. I know the headaches that comes with certain ones. I can honestly say- "Rest assured you are purchasing from a good dealership." - Oh this review is in no way influenced by them as the basis for any bargain. Before the repair I was going to leave them a review. I am happy to have gone through that fluke as it showed me in greater detail just how good of a dealership they are. More
I don't leave my reviews, but I had to leave one here. My experience at Momentum was so different from the stereotypical experience with a used car purchase, that it's hard to describe. There was here. My experience at Momentum was so different from the stereotypical experience with a used car purchase, that it's hard to describe. There was absolutely no pressure at any point. I got the product that they promised. And they kept their promises after the purchase (money for a spare key which was missing, and reimbursement for a service that was due). Based on this experience, I would use Momentum again in a heartbeat. More
I am not normally the kind of person who will give a business a bad review but I really feel that my issues with Momentum Motorcars need to be shared with anyone considering buying from them. Momentu business a bad review but I really feel that my issues with Momentum Motorcars need to be shared with anyone considering buying from them. Momentum Motorcars does a very good job of making you think that they are not like every other dealer. They act like your friend and they are there to help you buy the perfect car for a great price. Please do not let them fool you. I cant tell you how many times I heard Dan say "we don't charge dealer fees because that not how we run our business". Yes, this is true they don't charge dealer fees but that's because its built into their profit. I bought a Subaru WRX STi for almost 27 thousand dollars and he said the price would not be lowered one cent because he was selling it for a friend who is in a tough spot. (On a side note, throughout the buying process Dan told me multiple times that the previous owner had more money than he knew what to do with and that is why all the modifications were the best.) After I bought the car I looked at the title/tag application and the fair market value was $19,500. I don't know how much profit dealers usually make but that seems like a lot to me. They also led me to believe that they would still take care of me after I bought this car. I told Dan that I was uncomfortable with buying a modified car and he convinced me that all modifications were done by a professional shop and if anything went wrong after I got the car he would sit down with me and find a solution to the problem. Well Guess what, I have a big problem with the car and Dan is now the hardest person to get a hold of. I sent him a long detailed email explaining everything and asked him to call me after so we could get this figured out. He never did so I called him and he said he emailed me back, which was a lie. Then he said he would get me in touch with the previous owner so we could talk about the problem because Dan didn't know much about the car. Its been over a month and still no call from Dan. I also had an issue with registering the car and Momentum Motorcars refused to do anything to try and help me out. This led to me not being able to drive my new car for two weeks because the temp tag they gave me was expired and it took forever to get the title to the Alabama DMV. They said I had to register the car in Georgia so they sent the title to the Georgia DMV. Well I cant register the car in Georgia because I have Alabama insurance. So I Called the bank who financed the car and they said I could absolutely register it in Alabama. They sent a letter to Momentum saying that I could now register it in Alabama. When I called to see if they received the letter they said yes but they didn't even look at it because the title was already being sent to Georgia and they have already been paid by the bank, so it was no longer their problem. I apologize for the length of this review but I hope it will save someone else from getting ripped off by Momentum. I know that Momentum has great reviews from everyone else and this is one of the reasons I trusted them. I asked Dan if he would take care of me when something bad happened he told me to look at the reviews online because they don't treat customers like other dealers do. They take pride in their reviews and from what I read it sounds like they took great care of everyone else who bought a car from them. I think they mistreated me because I was a 23 year old who was buying his first car. I also wasn't buying a BMW, Merc or any of the other high end cars that people wrote reviews about, so maybe I'm not a valuable customer to them. Take this review as you want but the fact is they did lie to me multiple times and had absolutely no after sales service like they promised. Dan, when you read this maybe you'll think about finally calling me back but don't bother. I will figure this out myself as I have given up on your business. More
