I must admit I should have done my research before buying from these guys I just thought if you buy a bmw from a bmw dealer they will stand behind it. Naïve me .... On Monday 11 November bought a 2008 535i from the dealer. I had a check to pay to these guys ready with me however when I reached on time for my appointment at 6 I waited for 2 hours before the finance guy was available. he was nice enough to apologize however no one should be waiting for 2 hours specially when you are buying a car from them. I have been working with two sales guys (Bill and Rod) who have been ok but the wait period was horrible specially when I have done all the leg work my self and brought a check with me to pay them. My car was missing DVD which I am going to take tomorrow from Rod and I have just found out that the wheels have wheel locks on them but not an opener so I will see if I get that tomorrow or not as I signed the paper saying they only owe me DVD nothing else This afternoon the car gave me the dreaded warning message (engine malfunction reduced power) on I10 going at 65 MPH I was able to get off the feeder (safely thanks God) parked the car and read the message. it stated you can drive the car home carefully however take it to BMW. drove on feeder at 35 - 40 mph and now home. Called Rod to tell the issue and got the standard after sales answer "BMW cannot know that there is something wrong with BMW". he said call service department. Called the service department and after 20 odd minutes of holding time (4 pm-ish today) finally got some one on the phone to make an appointment. The lady seemed to be in a hurry and after a painful talking experience now I have an appointment on Monday. I told her I am coming to see Rod tomorrow and will be great if they can squeeze me in that time however was denied In short I was not expecting a horrible service and a faulty engine when I bought a BMW guess I was wrong. Will find out how they treat me Monday and will try to Ask Rod tomorrow if I can sell the car back to them (surely will be a loss but may be a loss I can take and move on learning a lesson from it) I have driven it a couple of time since I bought it Monday inside Houston. Preparing myself to further trouble after reading the experiences of others with the service department,. :) More

I thoroughly enjoyed getting my new BMW from Momentum Southwest. My sales advisor was Kyle and he made the process extremely smooth. I already have owned a couple of other BMW's, so Kyle did not have to work too hard to convince me on how great BMW was but he definitely still put the facts out there on why I should stay with the BMW family. He gave me an adequate amount of time to think over my decision without any pressure and was very genuine the whole time. I really appreciated his great attitude and positive demeanor. The great experience I had with my sales advisor and the manager played a big role in my decision to buy my new car from Momentum BMW Southwest. More

I went there yesterday to look at a vehicl Bait and Switch ... A salesman by the name of Curtis Josey is whom I had the displeasure of working with. I went there yesterday to look at a vehicle that was priced well. I told him I would like to trade in my wife's current vehicle (worth $8000 minimum trade in value and sales for $10K as of now) and pay cash for the rest owed. I provided him with all the necessary information to get a "range" that the trade in value would be in order not to waste either of or time. His low # was around $5500 and his high was $7500. I told him $7500 would be my rock bottom as the vehicle is in EXCELLENT shape. He assured me all would be well and to go ahead and come back with my wife's car. We were wanting to trade up to a crossover because my wife is expecting twins in a couple of months. The one they had is the same year as her car with 15K more miles than hers. I had my wife, who's basically on BED REST, drive over an hour to Momentum BMW so she could see the car of interest and so they could get the final trade in value. Curtis told me the Car was good to go and just got detailed. He spent his time with another customer and asked a DIFFERENT salesman to help us while he got her car appraised. We drove the car of interest and it was filthy inside, NOT DETAILED. After looking at it and wasting an hour of our time the other salesman brings us the "deal" they're willing to offer .... $3500. What a F&*$in' joke! They proceeded to get my information as if I was going to be dumb enough to finance something with them. Momentum BMW is a sad excuse for a dealership. One would think they would want return customers but it looks like they're all about getting the next sucker! Never again.... More
