Extremley fast service I called Friday at 5pm and spoke to Jameson McGuire in service and told him my brakes are grinding and I needed it for work on Monday and to go to Bos I called Friday at 5pm and spoke to Jameson McGuire in service and told him my brakes are grinding and I needed it for work on Monday and to go to Boston in a week. He said bring it up and I will try to get it done on Saturday as long as I can get the parts you need. Jamey was able to get all the parts I needed and had the car done by 2pm on Saturday. That was extremely fast for a Saturday when they have less staff and I needed all four brakes replaced with rotors and two calipers. I have been going to this dealership for 8 years now and I have had excellent service. I have five cars that go there and if there is any issues they always correct it in my favor. Craig Santandrea in service is the guy I use for most of my service jobs. Craig is very Knowledgeable, efficient and has been there for a very long time. Craig has given me excellent service over the years. Kayla Rynasko has also helped me tramendusly in the past with service issues and kept me informed on how things are going. More

The new owners dug up some "fine print" to weasel out of the tires FOR LIFE program that the prior owners had promised their customers. Shame on them. I am planning to buy another new Chevy this month but will not shop for it at this dealer. The trust is broken. In an effort to get out of a couple hundred dollars of promised benefits they will lose a $40k + sale. Bad business in my opinion. More

It's all about the experience, atmosphere and convenience This review is from my perspective only and is a comparison to other non-Chevrolet dealerships that I visit. I own 5 vehicles. One Silverado, two Infi This review is from my perspective only and is a comparison to other non-Chevrolet dealerships that I visit. I own 5 vehicles. One Silverado, two Infinities and two Nissans. and until recently one Toyota when I sold my 4-Runner for the Silverado. I live in Clifton Park so the dealership I use formerly Northstar now Mohawk) is very close so that's the convenience. That's about it for the advantages. I make appointments and get my work done while having my vehicle serviced. Your facility has a long way to go to be up to par with the others that I frequent. It's a small isolated room with one TV (daytime TV at that) with the volume up loud. No where to go to get away from it. The wifi password was recently changed over from Northstars. Myself and another lady were trying to get our work done but no wifi. I went in and asked and no one knew what it was. After about 30 minutes or so the other customer went in and asked the same. After about an hour I walked outside through the snow to the sales floor and asked and they gave it to me. About 15-30 minutes later someone came in and told us what it was. Too late as I ran out of patience. I gave them a $5 off coupon and I'm not sure that it was applied but I'll have to confirm that. I also left my registration sticker in plain site expecting they would replace it on my windshield since they were also doing an inspection. Not their job I understand but to me it's just good customer service. I was excited to hear that the dealership is under new ownership and my hopes are that there will be an investment to improve the atmosphere and overall experience. I don't typically take time out of my day to write these reviews but I'm a business person and customer service and customer experience make or break my success so I hope this will be taken in as a constructive review which is my intention. I would want the same feedback if I were in your shoes. Thanks and have a good day. More
Ownership Transfer Doesn't get off on the Right Foot First, Congrats on taking over Northstar Chevrolet! I bought my first car there in 1987 and have either purchased myself or sent others there for a car, new or used, over the years.I have serviced my 2011 Equinox here since purchase and my service experience on 11/25/2019, was exceptional as usual. So......with that being said.....as a new owner, don't screw it up. And after this visit, it looks like you bare trying hard not to follow this advice. Now for my complaint.....1) I was informed on the diagnostic phone call that new ownership was not going to honor the Tires for Life Program ( I had requested my next Tires for Life service when car was dropped off the night before) that I was about 30000 mikes into it. 2) I also enclosed an online spend more save more coupon that you would not honor.. Yes, it was only for $30 .....making your indifference to current customers ever more glaring. I look forward to a response, and consider it carefully, as it will greatly influence my decision to go elsewhere for service, and eventually a new car. PS. I gave this 5 stars....not for ownership actions, but for the great work of conscientious employees. More
