We have now purchased a Mazda and a Porsche from them and couldn't ask for more. After years of poor service and driving 3 hours to Houston or Dallas dealerships for Porsche service we came upon this little gem across the border and 1.5hrs away! If you like a dealership who places their priorities on a posh flashy showroom yet you are constantly returning your car for the same issues and no one knows your name go to Houston or Dallas. But, if you want a dealership who CARES, hires staff that goes ABOVE and BEYOND, who is KNOWLEDGEABLE, provides excellent SERVICE, and is PROFESSIONAL go to Moffitt! More

James Wooten & R Purchased a new 2016 Mazda CX-5 from Moffitt Mazda in Bossier City, La last week. The Sales Team was excellent! NO PRESSURE SALES! James Wooten & Robby Harvey were extremely helpful in every aspect of the purchase! They looked for every way for me to save money. Chase Bank even got me an extra $500.00 for financing the car with them! It was a painless experience, which was a first for me purchasing another new car! would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new car! More

We live 75 miles from the dealership and have tried numerous times to get it in for the oil change and any preventive maintenance that is required. Every time we call the service department they are booked up, they want to schedule us 2 weeks in advance and with me & my wife's work schedule that is an impossible task. Have not had one phone call from this dealership. I was told by their service department that since they are a multi brand dealership they have to alternate brands to change the oil, they have to do an Audi, Porsche, & Mazda. Since we purchased a Mazda, we have had three phone calls from Classic Mazda in Texarkana and have never purchased any vehicle from them, nor do I know anyone at this dealership. However, you can rest assured the next one will come from Classic. It's called service after the sale, not take their money and don't call us we'll call u! More

The service center is crap. I've taken my 2011 Tribute up there twice to be fixed and twice had to bring it back because it wasn't fixed. This time my car broke down on me not 10 minutes after pic Tribute up there twice to be fixed and twice had to bring it back because it wasn't fixed. This time my car broke down on me not 10 minutes after picking it up and acting worse than when I dropped it off. Currently working on getting my $300 back for them "fixing" something that was supposedly the problem but still turning up with the same symptoms but worse?? Yeah, don't think so. Now they're telling me it's something else that can be covered on my warranty. Car only has 47,000 miles on it. I advise to never buy a Tribute and never buy any vehicle from this dealership unless you can work on your own car. More
This is our third car purchase from Moffit in 5 years, so I know who to ask for when I call. WE bought a mazda 3 and a tribute for our daughters in 2007 and 2009. This week we bought a CX 9 for my wife. (I I know who to ask for when I call. WE bought a mazda 3 and a tribute for our daughters in 2007 and 2009. This week we bought a CX 9 for my wife. (I got a B-2000 p/u for myself --- but that was 25 years ago. They respond to our requests as well as they can. I'll call, tell them what I'm looking for and then line up a test drive. This time we drove the CX - 7 and the CX9. WE took them home overnight to see how the fit in the garage and traveled on the roads we drive on every day. (couldn;t do that at the Chev dealer due to their insurance carrier) Got a fair OTD quote and 0% financing. Here's what put them over the top 1. When walking the lot in the summer of 2009 in 100 degree heat, one of the owners walked out and handed us ice cold water bottles. Made a big impression on me. 2. When my daughter was stranded on interstate in rush hour traffic, we needed the toll free assistance number fast. We called Billy Luker, our salesman, who gave us the #. But get this ---- he called me back a week later to check up on my daughter and make sure she was ok. That's the extra touch. 3. When test driving a vehicle overnight, we couldn't get the car doors to lock. (I'm techno challenged) We called the dealer. 7 pm. 10 minutes later, one of the owners shows up in her family car with her daughter, helps us out, then takes the car we are testing to fill it up with gas. Only complaint ---- waiting for over 2 hours for an oil change when we had an appointment. But that's a service department issue, and we fixed that by getting th oil changed at a Time It Lube thereafter. More
I can't say enough good things about Moffitt! My husband and I moved to Louisiana from metro NJ, where we were used to having access to extensive public transit. Having just gotten married and having only and I moved to Louisiana from metro NJ, where we were used to having access to extensive public transit. Having just gotten married and having only a little money and poor credit from months of unemployment, we were worried that finding a car would be almost as impossible as living without one. I visited other area dealerships, but felt like the sales people didn't listen to my needs and were pushing me towards expensive SUVs and trucks when all I wanted was a good, reliable econo car. At Moffitt, I felt like they actually listened to what I wanted and didn't assume I knew nothing about cars just because I was a women. I never felt judged for having poor credit (which was the case at some other dealerships), and in fact felt as though they went above and beyond to accommodate our situation and find the best solution to financing our used car purchase. I felt like a person, and not just an opportunity for a sale. In the end, we were able to buy a 2003 Honda Civic that was perfect for our needs, and we were able to come to a pricing agreement that allowed us to buy the car outright, rather than get involved in high-interest financing options. We are so happy with our car-it was an integral part of making our move to a totally new place bearable, and it wouldn't have been possible without our incredible salesman, James Wooten. I would absolutely recommend Moffitt to anyone looking for a car, either new or used. More
I was thinking about getting a Mazda3. Since Moffitt was the closest Mazda dealer to me (the next closest one was about 2 hours away), I decided to check them out to see what they had. I've visited the d the closest Mazda dealer to me (the next closest one was about 2 hours away), I decided to check them out to see what they had. I've visited the dealer twice. The first time there was a very nice saleman that didn't hover over me while I looked at the cars and was willing to help me with anything I needed. The second time I visited it was a little different. The salesman spoke in monotone, constantly spewing the typical salesman lingo and following me around everywhere. Since then, I contacted the dealership (or should I say tried) twice by email. I was simply wanting a quote on a car they had listed on their website. The first time they emailed me back asking for my phone number. I hate it when dealerships do this. If I would have wanted to contact them by phone, I would have called them instead of emailing them. The second time I contacted them through email I never received a reply. Finally, I decided to call them about the car I was considering. The salesman I talked to was very short with me. He said he had someone else on the line (you would think they could have forwarded me to a free salesperson). I told him the car I was looking at and that I wanted a quote. He said he would have to go out on the lot to see if they still had the car and how much it cost to see what they could offer me (I would have thought all of this would be on computer). He also said he would get back with me as soon as possible as long as he didn't get tied up with another customer. He never called back. About 5 or 6 hours after originally calling, I decided to call back and talk to someone else. I talked to Don (I believe that was his name). He was very nice. I told him all about the car I was looking at and about the other salesman that never called back. He said he would check on the car and get back with me within 30 minutes. About 15 minutes later, he calls back with a quote. First, he told me what the asking price was - just barely above $19,000. However, the car's MSRP was $18,605. Come to find out their price includes pinstriping (no big deal) and what he called "dealer prep." Apparently, this dealer prep is basically you (the customer) paying the tab for them to get the car ready to go on the lot (washing and general look-over). This is insane! This is obivously some way to cheat more money out of people. Before he even told me the quote, I had already made up my mind - forget Moffitt. Anyway, the quote was about $200 more than the actual MSRP. Yeah right! The salesman told him that these cars were selling so good that they did have any rebates on the 3. I have been checking their website every so often over the past few months. Ironically, they have only sold a hand-full of these cars (at least the sedans, which is what I was looking at) - not exactly as hot-selling as he tried to make it out to be. So after all this, I obviously will not be buying anything have Moffitt Mazda. I can deal with not quite the friendliest customer service but the outrageous pricing pushed it over the top. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. More
