Modesto Subaru

I was in the market for a 2025 Subaru Outback, and I looked up every Subaru Dealer from Sacramento to San Diego (I live in Pasadena, a five-hour drive from Modesto), and emailed all of them requesting o looked up every Subaru Dealer from Sacramento to San Diego (I live in Pasadena, a five-hour drive from Modesto), and emailed all of them requesting out-the-door price quotes on that car. The vast majority of them answered evasively and needed firm follow-up emails before I got the requested info. So I deeply deeply appreciated it when Emily Gonzalez wrote back with a simple price quote. On top of that, Modesto Subaru was offering the best deal in the state at the time, with several thousand off MSRP. Due to the distance, I did inquire with more local dealerships to ask if they would match or beat Modesto's quote. Most of them said no, but one said yes and then proceeded to give me a formal price quote that was close, but wasn't actually a match. It was only slightly higher and so might have been worth it to save the big trip, but I so greatly appreciated Emily's and Modesto's straightforward and candid communication that I decided to go with them instead. I requested a zoom meeting with Emily and my wife to discuss the offer, and Emily was able to work with us to do that, even though remote sales via zoom are not something they typically do. I then got myself a cheap flight from LA to San Jose, and an inexpensive one-way rental car for a 90-minute drive to an Enterprise rental car location a half-mile down the street from Modesto Subaru. I was planning to walk to the dealership, and was surprised to find that Emily Gonzalez drove there to pick me up. She did not have to do that, but it was very nice and much appreciated. The car purchase experience was straightforward and simple. Emily and Francis Aguirre, the finance person who handled setting up the auto loan, were both extremely helpful and clear. I would absolutely buy from them again if they're offering a similarly competitive deal the next time I'm in the market for a car. Absolutely worth the trip up there and the 5-hour drive back. More

I bought this car at the Modesto Subaru dealership. I take it to this dealership for service for everything except tires. Here are my problems : 1. The oil change was performed on December 30 2024. Sure, the service was fast; but it lacked thoroughness. For the third time, there was oil left/slopped in the drip pan which then dripped on my garage floor. My 72 year old husband has had to get down on his hands and knees and clean up the mess caused by the sloppy oil change job. 2. I am irritated at your inability to update my email address. You send me the feedback via email to my husband’s email. I have called your site in Stockton, and have requested twice in person at Modesto Suburu to fix this.
