Have been buying cars at the Asheboro Toyota location for 20 years. Last purchase was a Rav4 Hybrid 2021. Asked for oil changes every 5k instead of the recommended 10k. GM dealers recommend 5k. Was taking my Rav4 every 5k and getting a new sticker for oil change 5k later as requested and maintenance light reset. Just found out from JD service manager they only changed oil every 10k after I waited 2 hours every time. After I discoved this with dirty oil after a supposed oil change JD told me the sticker was to show I needed a tire rotation and he Knew I was there for an oil change. Don't trust them to do any service and this is fraud. General Manager there does not even know what's going on. I will have to find a reputable Toyota dealership to service my Rav4 that I love. More
The entire team is crooked especially the finance manager. He lied about the interest rate, told me I had to buy products, and than wanted us to resign documents that had signatures but didn’t look l manager. We got ourselves a great lawyer because you can’t sign our names on documents and they weren’t our signatures. Don’t go to this dealership and don’t go see Justin Harvey. Rick Parsons was my Sales Consultant. I went to Modern Toyota to drive a Toyota Corolla Cross to see if I liked it. It was absolutely no hassle. When I reached the point to tell him I was going to think about it, he said, " No problem. I have given you the information. Call me if you have any questions." He was knowledgeable, polite, kind, and most of all courteous to my needs. My husband and I went to lunch, talked about it, and I ultimately decided to get the car and get the car at Modern Toyota of Asheboro. Rick was the best Sales Consultant I have ever worked with. Rufus did the contract and he also was very knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful. Another Toyota dealership had told me prior to going to Modern Toyota to take a picture of my offer and they would beat it. But my deciding factor was Rick Parsons. He did not pressure me, belittle me, or treat me like an idiot. I had a great experience at Modern Toyota. Rick earned my business. More

Gerald was very easy to with during the entire car buying process. We told him exactly what we were looking for and he was able to find it and get it for us in a few weeks. New cars/trucks are currently hard process. We told him exactly what we were looking for and he was able to find it and get it for us in a few weeks. New cars/trucks are currently hard to come by due to chip shortage. When we went to pick up the vehicle, he was waiting for us and the process could not have gone any smoother. No hiccups at all. Would work with him and this dealership again. More
I brought my car in for a repair. After I got there we talked about. And was promised $400 for the inconvenience. And never received it. Then changed the repair without my knowledge.
