This is our third vehicle purchase from Modern Motors in Thomaston, CT. We purchased two Dodge Grand Caravans, and since we wanted to downsize now, we purchased a Mazda CX5. Love the vehicle. Our salesman, Bob Ermini is very knowledgable about both Dodge and Mazda and went above and beyond to get us the exact vehicle we wanted that was also right for us. Jim, the owner, was phenomonal in getting us the right financing for our budget. When we had to sit with Mark to do the finalizing paperwork, he made sure that everything was completely and concisely explained and we had no questions once we left. We're very happy with the dealership and our vehicle. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Modern Motors and ask for Bob Ermini. He'll do you proud. More

I went to the dealer to by a new ram 2500 4 weeks ago and they appraised my vehicle@ 26,500 but they could not find me a new truck so I waited and Vinney stated he had one coming in and 4 weeks later I went they appraised my vehicle@ 26,500 but they could not find me a new truck so I waited and Vinney stated he had one coming in and 4 weeks later I went down and saw the truck with a new manager they re-appraised my vehicle and the value went down to 22,500 I was very insulted and dishearten that a dealer trying to earn my business would be so degrading and did not care if he lost a customer and I went to the chevy dealer who would treat a paying Customer with respect and try to bend over backwards to earn my business. I have several friends at work and around town that I will spread the word not to business with this dealer. More

Just nice and straight forward through the entire process, including the final vehicle price. Sales floor atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, not rehearsed and robotic like some of the bigger dealerships. I did not finance with them but still had the pleasure to sit down with the finance manag rehearsed and robotic like some of the bigger dealerships. The added perks that came with my used vehicle was impressive, the lifetime powertrain warranty is huge. I would highly recommend this dealership. More

I sent out an internet request looking for pricing. Once I sent out the request I became very busy. Kim was great at keeping in touch but not being pushy. Kim invited me down for a test drive and was willin I sent out the request I became very busy. Kim was great at keeping in touch but not being pushy. Kim invited me down for a test drive and was willing to work a deal with me. We all want more for less, but Kim did all she could do to make the deal happen. Kim is also very creative. At no point and time was I pressured into a decision, I asked for more than one test drive and she was very accommodating, and when I made my decision and expressed my concern about getting there to pick up the vehicle, she immediately offered to have someone come and get me. On the day of delivery, I was introduced to the service and parts department, and given a detailed description of all the features of the vehicle. What impressed me most was the relaxed nature of the entire process, and how friendly and helpful everyone I came into contact with was and is. I am actually looking forward to my first service visit. Thank you Kim for your help. More
