At this point, I feel like the technicians are guessing and not fixing my vehicle properly. I had a “new transmission” put in in May that was almost $5k. It was told to me that some valve was ripped and re and not fixing my vehicle properly. I had a “new transmission” put in in May that was almost $5k. It was told to me that some valve was ripped and replacing that, which was over $500, was the problem. Then it turned into the transmission going bad. June 3rd my engine light comes on and my vehicle is shaking uncontrollably. It was taken to the dealership on June 5th, I was told I needed coil packs. I went back on Wednesday June 7th because it feels to be that the gears are shifting very hard. A technician drove it with me and told me it was fine and the “shifting was a simulation” because it doesn’t actually shift gears. Here it is June 11th and the engine light is back on. At this point, I feel like I’m being taken advantage of and will either have Geico investigate or get a lawyer involved because how can I keep taking it back for similar problems? I have wasted over $6k at this point and am starting to believe they aren’t fixing anything at all. My husband will be up there Monday morning to bring this to get checked. This is ridiculous. More
