We came to City VW after much internet research and test drives, figuring we wanted a Golf TDi. City VW had one that fit our desires (4 door, auto, Premium Sound system, no moonroof) on the lot. We couldn't go until after work and Christa was our sales person. She came with us on a test drive and described the features of the car. She really knows her stuff. She was able to answer all my questions, even details of operation of the Premium Sound System with an iPod which was a key item for me with my long commute and my love of music. Christa did not pressure us to buy, despite the lateness of the hour. She was patient but worked her parts of the process very fast to make the experience as good as it could be. Christa followed up a few days after our purchase to check that things were working well and that we were enjoying our new car. She has kept in touch ever since to make sure we are getting the service she said we would from VW. I wish all all car sales people were as competent and comfortable as Christa. BTW, I love my Golf TDi! More

I am 81 years old and have never purchased a car in my life. However, my 1994 Lexus was beginning to show some age and I thought it time to start looking but I was not looking forward to the experience life. She has a friend that has a Jetta and loves it. So City Volkswagon was our first stop. I liked the fact that City Volkswagon is only about 3 miles from my house and knew they had a long and good reputation in San Diego. We walked into the showroom which was clean and very open. We were met by Dago Salazar. I told me I was interested in the Jetta. He showed us the car, suggested I drive it and I really liked it. We briefly discussed price and it was definitely in my range. I told him we we would be back later that I wanted to see a Toyota. That was our next stop. I Drove the Camry and didn't like it. The next day March 5 we were back at City Volkswagen. Dago had me drive the Jetta again and that was the car I wanted. At that point we sat down with Dago and discussed the price. He was very helpful in explaining the loan arrangements, gave me a good price for my car on the trade in and very low interest rate. About that time Josue Centella came in to the office and he was equally as helpful and pleasant as Dago. So, needless to say I am now the proud owner of a 2012 Jetta which I love. The City Volkswagon agency is an excellent car agency, the salespeople are very knowledgeable, not pushy and great to work with. I have already recommended this agency to several people and will continue to so so. They have followed up with a phone call to make sure all is okay and Cherylann Ferrari has booked my 90 day service call. More

Dago was very friendly even though he knew making a deal for me would be hard. He was very thorough and demonstrated everything I needed to know about my vehicle or showed me where I could find additional for me would be hard. He also went "above and beyond" the call of duty by insisting I call or e-mail him anytime with any questions I may have. I also worked with Erik Mulhern while there and Erik did an excellent job "going to bat" for me and in the end the parties made the deal happen. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience and now I am driving around a hot V-Dub CC! This car is the lap of luxury AND still provides that sport car experience. I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!! Wen to test drive a new GTI on Saturday. Armando was knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He let me drive the manual and DSG model. Decided to buy the car the next day, and even though it was his day off, Armando came in to facilitate the purchase. They gave me great terms, the value I requested on my trade in, and everyone made sure that the experience went well. I was interested in a VW Tiguan and was able to qualify for a spanking brand new lease! They gave me a good price and a good monthly payment even though my credit was just average. The salesman Dago was very nice and didnt even pressure us at all, it was very different than other dealers, this was a overall great pressure-free buying experience. The dealer is a bit small compared to other dealerships but they do have all the models available and even used cars, i guess they have another lot where they keep all the other cars. The managers were also nice, not much to negotiate, no back and forth let me see what i can do, just good service and good pricing from the beginning, thats what i call good service. More
