The process was quick and easy. I decided to go with City VW because they were friendly, let me take my time, and allowed me to have my space when I needed it. I am very satisfied with the overall experience I had at City VW and would recommend them to others. The VW side does seem a little small, but they have another service area and Chevy building across the street. I haven't had servicing on my new car yet so I can't rate on the service dept. so this is just for sales. More

Armando was very professional and let me know that he was in no rush. I would have as much of his time as required. When following up with me, he didn't flood me with calls. I would definitely recommend this dealership, and Dago Salazar. I hate to go car shopping, and the hassle and haggle that often comes with it, but my experience at City VW was great. VW was my second choice, because I was looking for a Hyundai, and trying to find one with a manual transmission. I stopped by to test drive the GTI. Dago was very cordial and friendly, and made the test drive a breeze. When I told him I needed to think about the car, because that was my second choice car, he did not pressure me and simply told me to call him when I was ready. I went back to the dealershiop in a couple of days to show the car to my husband and son, and Dago suggested we test drive it again. He was very patient with my son and his requests, and again, while he showed me all the great features for the car, there was no pressure. The 0% financing, was what really sealed the deal, since the GTI was a more expensive car than the Hyundai. I went back the next day to fill out the paperwork. The color I wanted was not available in San Diego, but Dago offered to look for one and have it driven down for me. I did my research on Consumer Report (and excellent source of advice) as far as prices are concerned, and Dago brought the numbers I had to the manager, who matched them: more than $600 less than the MSRP. Again, no pressure on adding extra stuff, and no hidden fees. The car arrived earlier than expected, and the next day, Dago drove it up to my house since I did not have a ride to come and get it. He went over all features and even synched my phone to the car via bluetooth. He encouraged me to call him or email him with questions. The car was as expected, and it even had a couple of extra accessories that I did not expect. Overall a very positive experience. More
