Was looking for a new car for about 8-6 months before going in to test drive my top four cars. First trip to a VW in San Diego was awful. So pressured, treated like just another transaction, and well, I going in to test drive my top four cars. First trip to a VW in San Diego was awful. So pressured, treated like just another transaction, and well, I left after test driving and never went back. Googled other VW dealerships in San Diego and found City VW. Walked onto the lot and Christa came out and I was SO lucky that it was her that did. This was my first new car purchase and she made it the best experience. She was friendly, helpful, full of information, and most of all a bubbly personable sales person. Why can't they make them all like Christa? Car buying would be such a better experience. The process was fairly quick. Day 1, test drove and talked car specs. Followed-up and helped me through e-mail with numbers and all my questions. Day 2 a couple weeks later I was ready to buy and had my new 4 door Golf waiting for me. Paperwork, blah, all the stuff, throughout the evening, then left happy and excited to pick up my new car the next day. Very happy with my purchase, love my new car. Helped me with exactly what I wanted and wasn't pushy or too intense. I know I can email or call her if I have any questions and always receive a quick reply. I had been to multiple dealerships before going to City VW and was incredibly disappointed with the salesmen I had encountered, so much so, that before even going to City VW, I checked reviews of the sales VW and was incredibly disappointed with the salesmen I had encountered, so much so, that before even going to City VW, I checked reviews of the sales personnel before going in just to get a better idea of what to expect. I ended up getting Christa, and she was the one I had hoped I would get based on the reviews on this site! She was great, got me the car I wanted, and even went above and beyond the call of duty by picking me up at CarMax so we could get the deal done that night. She was by far the nicest, most professional and genuine car saleswoman/salesman I have met. Thumbs up! More
