They have a great waiting area just off of the showroom--flat screen TVs, coffee, vending machines, and comfy couches--and now I know why. Plan to camp out there when getting service done. We went showroom--flat screen TVs, coffee, vending machines, and comfy couches--and now I know why. Plan to camp out there when getting service done. We went in to have the check engine light fixed and an oil change after a cross-country drive in a new Camry, only to be told that it also needed some other fix on the gas pedal and control. I didn't want to wait a long time, so signed a waiver to say I'd get the fix done after getting back home. 45 minutes later the service rep said the mechanic wouldn't touch the car because I didn't want the fix done (so what was the point of the waiver?). I told them to bring the car up then. 15 minutes later he comes and tell me that the car was already up on the rack so they'd change the oil after all. Almost an hour later the car was finally ready. And I was out of there sooner than a few unlucky souls who had been sitting there when I first got into the waiting room. More
Car ran poorly after an oil and lube and "FREE 21 point inspection". Drove in for service and car runs excellently - pick up the car and the engine warning light is on and car runs awful. What happened? T inspection". Drove in for service and car runs excellently - pick up the car and the engine warning light is on and car runs awful. What happened? They offered to check it out but I said I'm reporting you to the better business bureau. I expect this from the local no name mechanic but not from a reputable Toyota dealer. More
