Oil change that won't be forgotten!!!!!! My 15000 mi. check up did not turn out to be as routine as I thought, on my vehicle the oil Filter has a cartridge and gasket that needs to be replac My 15000 mi. check up did not turn out to be as routine as I thought, on my vehicle the oil Filter has a cartridge and gasket that needs to be replaced. The gasket on the filter was not placed back on the filter,(as of today, 12/17 my truck was checked out for noise and all is well for now. Also found out that the gasket on filter was placed but got pinched) it came very close to running the engine to the point of no return! The oil leak was noticed at a parking lot by a friend, and called me to double check. Luckily I did stop to check and to my surprise it was my engine. Towed to Sunrise Toyota, they were great, they took care of the leak and documented their findings and cleaned the under carriage to the point where I didn't have to do much. Now I guess time will tell as far as any other problem that might arise from this incident, aluminum blocks don't take lack of oil to lightly. My approach to my 2014 Land Cruiser, is similar to that of my 1989 Ford Bronco, looking under it, and listening for any noise out of the ordinary! The thrill is gone! Thanks millennium. This review up above was written prior to today's servicing ( 12/17 ) which turned out very productive. The vehicle was checked and tested for any effects from the low oil level. The service my vehicle and I received today was second to none, mishaps do happen, I guess? And they are prepared to ease my concerns with any issue with the engine internally. Maybe I'm easy, but they did bend over backward for me, so because of that I've upgraded my ratings, it was poor across the board, but now, as you can see it's a complete reversal, I hope it continues into the future. Today's Assistant Service Manager was Sean Clarke, and he did provided excellent service and attention to my vehicle, and kept informed of the progress and any findings The Service Director Nick Garguilo and Stevens Pierre also went out of their way to help out, I was very appreciative for their genuine concern, Thank you! pleasant and professional. came in for a recall issue and was informed that i needed a wheel alignment. so i bought the wheel alignment package with balancing. however there sho came in for a recall issue and was informed that i needed a wheel alignment. so i bought the wheel alignment package with balancing. however there should be a package of wheel balancing and rotation as you still have to take the wheels off to balance them. my score is indicative of always having room for improvement and i saw two wheels were balanced . should not four wheels be balanced especially if you are getting an alignment. so my recommendation is that there should be a package for wheel alignment,4 wheel balancing and possible rotation as this especially extends the life of your tires and you already have to take the wheels off to balance them.thanks. my score is not reflective of the staff who were professional and courteous but of the different packages offered.$190 for a wheel alignment and 2 wheel balancing is a little pricey. More
