Good Afternoon Ms. Deaner, I'm sorry you are upset regarding your recent purchase at Millennium Hyundai and I apologize for the delay in responding to you. My email address you sent your concerns to was not working so I'm glad that you re-sent your letter to the correct address. I spoke to all parties involved; Willie your salesman, Joe your Finance Manager, Josiah our Sales Manager and even Jason our General Manager and all assured me that you received a fair deal. Everyone has gone out of their way to make you happy and you brand our offer to come to your job as ridiculous. It wasn't. Willie was simply trying to make things easier. With our customer's busy schedules, going to a customer's home or business happens quite often. I reviewed the details of your sales contract in the computer and I have to agree with them that you made a good deal on your Genesis. The $1000.00 you're questioning was applied to your trade-in value which is why you don't see it as a sperate amount on your contract. I'm sorry too that you feel you are being ignored when calling in but everyone I spoke to has either spoken to you or your father at least once if not more. At this point I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do to make you happy. You purchased a vehicle at a fair price and weren't forced to buy anything additional. You say yourself that you knew the price before taking delivery and there was ample time to question or cancel your purchase before moving forward so I don't know what "shady deal" you are referring to. Good morning. My name is Fred Luhn and I'm the Business Development Manager here at Millennium Hyundai. I reviewed your information and spoke in depth with the sales and finance people involved in your transaction and can assure you that no one tried to "take advantage" of you. As you noted Didier is a professional and has many hundreds of satisfied clients to attest to this. He didn't immediately discuss price with you because he was unsure if the banks would even accept your application and until a bank says "yes", there is no way to know what interest rate you will be paying. The information you were asked to provide was a requirement set for us by the banks we were submitting your information to. Credit-challenged individuals are often asked to provide more information than those with good credit. I saw your application and it was not "entirely too much information" as you state. As far as your being "uncomfortable" reviewing your credit history with our finance manager I'd like to explain that this is standard practice when a consumer with less than acceptable credit questions why they can't qualify for a certain rate or payment price on a vehicle. It is our finance managers' job to fully explain to a consumer why they are being charged what they are based on their credit report. From what I see you had several people spend several hours of their day with you trying to get you approved and financed. Multiple applications and multiple banks were tried on your behalf. Full explanations of your credit and our charges were given to you. And when after all this you decided NOT to move forward, your deposit was refunded within the 7-14 day period we stated. I fail to see where we did anything wrong. It's unfortunate you feel the way you do.
